Entrance exams only last for few hours like 5 - 6 hours. It doesnt take whole Day.

Hey. IIIT Hyderabad invited applications for admission to its undergraduate dual degree programme 2018-19 through UGEE 2018 from 5 February 2018 to 15 March 2018. This entrance exam in the basis of entrance in the dual degree program of IIIT Hyderabad. One can also get admission through JEE Main rank and for it you must obtain a rank as high as 100-110. For you to be eligible for admission in Christ university you need to have above 50% in 10th 12th and graduation percentage. Then the marks of CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT and GMAT are valid for applying in Christ university.

For applying in Christ university you need to appear in any one of the exam as I mentioned above and to be eligible score:

1. CAT - 70+ percentile
2. XAT - 70+ percentile
3. CMAT - 70+ percentile
4. MAT - 600+ score
5. GMAT - 450+ score

Now after applying in Christ university there are different stage procedure you need to clear in order to get admission.

First there is a Group Discussion session of 35 minutes along with 90 sec/student micro presentation. After this there is a 10 min WSAT round in which you will be given a topic there and you will need to write all your viewpoints in  a page. After this there is a venal assessment and Personal interview round. Finally with your past academic records i.e. 10th 12th and graduation percentage along with work experience you're evaluated considering all the rounds marks. Finally a merit list is made and students are given admission.

Regarding the scholarship in Christ university. Students who are topper in the colleges are offered some part of their fees as scholarship. Other than that as far as I know there is no scholarship. But as you have less family income then you can take bank loan and return it after you get a good Job. As fees of Christ university is not much more so it will be easy to get a bank loan when you will show the proves that you have got admission in Christ university.

Sorry to say but I don't think this rank will help you to get any vit.


For getting vit your rank should be under 55000.

It will get you a seat in the branches of print and media, industrial production, but not on the day of the first round of counselling. You would need to apply for the waiting list, and in the 2nd or 3rd round of councelling you could get the above mentioned branches. You won't be able to get the branches of automobile engineering, electrical and electronics, mechatronics, mechanical, and branches like computer science, electronics and communications, computer and communication, information technology are not to be considered.

It would be better if you apply for the second and third attempts of MU-OET, and prepare well for those and try and give your best, and you will easily get better marks then.

(You could easily get these engineering branches in Manipal University, Jaipur or Sikkim Manipal University, if you want to, but the quality of education would not be better than it is here, in MIT, Manipal.)
