I completed my graduation in 2019 [ B.A GEOGRAPHY - 60% MARKS ]. For some reason, couldnt continue my studies. but I want to start over again, what should I do now? Am I eligible for presidency university [ PUMDET ] and BHU [ PET ] as a regular student?
Hello,
As of now the official notification of PUBDET 2022 isn't released yet, but if we go through last year information bulletin then yes for fresh admission of existing year only candidates who passed the required educational qualification from previous year are eligible, check out at https://wbjeeb.in/files_information-bulletin-pumdet-202149.pdf to know more details regarding this,
however when it comes to BHU PET, there is no such mention that only candidates who hold the required educational qualifications from previous or existing year are eligible, if you're seeking admission in MA Geography, then candidates who have passed BA Hons in the concerned subject or passed BA having studied the required subject in all three years of graduation securing 50% marks are eligible regarding this, as of now the admission schedule of pg admission of BHU isn't released yet, though you may consider checking out last year information bulletin of page number 23 at https://www.bhu.ac.in/admission/international/aug2021/info//PET%20Information%20Bulletin%202021.pdf to know more details regarding this.
I have passed 12th in 2019 but reappeared for improvement in 2020. Am I eligible for JEE Mains 2022 ??
Hello aspirant,
I would like to tell you that you are not eligible for Appearing in JEE mains 2022 examination, as every candidates are allowed to give JEE mains examination for 3 consecutive attempts from the year of passing their class 12th. Since, you have passed your class 12th in 2019, you were only allowed to give JEE mains attempt till 2021.
Further, re-appearing for improvement in one or two subject after class 12th in any board has no affect in giving the JEE mains examination. the Eligibility criteria of JEE mains clearly says that the candidate need to have passed in the qualifying examination in order to appear for JEE mains examination. So, you chances for attempt for JEE mains attempt will be counted from 2019 only.
Further, if you want to know more further details regarding the eligibility criteria and other information related to JEE mains examination, you can follow the below mentioned link : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-2022#:~:text=JEE%20Main%202022%20Eligibility%20Criteria&text=Candidates%20should%20have%20passed%20class,2021%2C%20or%20appearing%20in%202022.&text=There%20is%20no%20age%20limit.&text=The%20candidates%20should%20have%20qualified,Language
I hope that this will help.
i have completed Bsc in 2019 and after that i completed a diploma course in interior designing offered by MSBTE and now after 1 year gap 1 am appearing for NEET UG 2022. Then what examination qualifying code should I opt for while filling the application form as it is my first attemt ??
Hi
It doesn't matter even if you have done diploma in interior designing after bsc.
Your number of attempts in neet doesn't matter even when it comes to codes, so it really has nothing to do even if you are attempting NEET for the 1st time.
Did you have at least any two of physics chemistry and Biology/biotechnology in your bsc?
-----------------------) If yes, then you need to select code 6 as it is for all those students who have passed BSc with at least any two of following subjects :-
>>>>Physics,
>>>>chemistry ,
>>>>biology/biotechnology
-----------------------) If not, then you need to select code 2 as in that case your highest qualification with all the three PCB subjects remains 10 + 2
Here's a short brief of Neet codes :-
-----------------------------) Code 1 :- code 1 is for class 12th board 2022 examination appearing students with physics, chemistry, biology and English or have have already appeared but results are awaited i. e have not been declared.
-----------------------------) Code 2 :- code 2 is for all those who have passed their 10+2/higher /senior secondary/ Indian School Certificate Examination with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English
-----------------------------) Code 3 :- code 3 says it is for those passed their intermediate / pre- degree examination with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English ,your physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology should also contain practical exam.
-----------------------------) Code 4 :- pre - medical degree with Physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology after passing hsc i. e 10+2 or puc or equivalent.
-----------------------------) Code 5 :- code 5 is for all those who have passed 1 st year 3 year graduation with all the three of Physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology
-----------------------------) Code 6 :- code 6 is for all those students who have passed BSc with at least any two of following subjects :-
>>>>Physics,
>>>>chemistry ,
>>>>biology/biotechnology
-----------------------------) Code 7 :- code 7 is for those who have passed their examination from foreign board which is equivalent of Indian 10+2 board.

My 12 bihar boards result is 362/500, My result are below 75% but i am in josaa top 20% according to the previous year (2017, 2018 ,2019) top 20% trends of bihar board, Should i prepare for jee main 2023 to get admission in nit/iits??
Hello Aspirant,
See even if you have not secured 75% marks but however if you are able to secure your position in top 20 percentile of your respective board's result as per the criteria of JOSAA-2023 then you will be eligible to get admission in NITs/IIITs/ CFTIs through your your JEE-Main 2023 score and also note that at this point of time It is quite difficult to say anything very sure for next year because till now no information has been released for JEE-Main 2023 but this year d efinitely you can get admission into aforesaid institutions on the basis of your JEE-Main or JEE-Advance score even if you don't have 75% in class 12th because 75% criteria has been lifted off for this year as well so now you need to just pass in all the subjects prescribed in class 12th.

Hello Aspirant,
As per your query I would like to inform you that the students can appear for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE ) for up to three consecutive years that is who have passed their class XII in 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2022 board exams can only sit in the JEE Mains 2022 exam. Since you have passed your class XII in 2019 you will not be eligible to give the exam.
Hope it helps
