if i passed in may 2019 but i did not get 75% then i could not give it . after then the percentage rule was removed in 2020 .so may be eligible for jee advance 2021

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 29th Aug, 2021

Hi

No, you are not eligible for jee advanced 2021. This doesn't matter even if you didn't appear in JEE advanced 2019

This is because,

One has a total of two attempts for JEE advanced over two consecutive years starting from the year of appearing for 12th board examination i. e as per , eligibility criteria one is eligible for JEE advanced examination only in the year in which he or she appears for 12th board examination and the next year following it.

So, with 12 th appearing year as 2019,

  • you were eligible for jee advanced 2019 and

  • you are eligible for jee advanced 2020 only. Thus, not eligible for JEE advanced 2021

You can check detailed eligibility criteria of JEE advanced by visiting our page the link for the same page is provided below

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-advanced-eligibility-criteria

If I tell you about Jee main then,

One can give JEE Mains entrance examination for a maximum of 3 consecutive years starting from the year of passing 12th board examination.

Now, your 12th passing year is 2019

So, you

  • were eligible for jee main 2019

  • eligible jee main 2020

  • arw eligible jee main 2021 as well .

Thankyou

Harsha Sinha 2nd Sep, 2021

Hi there,

Please explain the question what you are want help for,

If I am getting your question you wanted to know whether your 2019 marks in advance would be considered in 2021 or not if yes then how. If this is query then the answer would be no. Because only the recent score and ranks are considered no due year marks can be used.

If you have given jee mains this year and if you want to know about the college options with your rank you can use our college predictor tool

Hello sir! I cleared my gseb 12 board exam in 2019.and appeared in gujcet 2021 so any changes in my acpc merit list 2021?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 28th Aug, 2021

Hello,

ACPC announced that the merit list will be prepared based on eligibility criteria for admission for the students who have passed the qualifying examination from Gujarat and appeared in GUJCET 2021:

60% of the weightage is given to the theory subjects of the qualifying exam (PCM)

40% of the weightage is given to the candidates who have qualified GUJCET 2021.

The other option is JEE mains and the list will be prepared on basis of All India Rank of JEE (Main) examination for the corresponding year.

I hope this helps.

Hope you are doing great there . I am really very sorry to say this but you will not be eligible for JEE 2021 since you have already given mains in three consecutive years that is 2018,2019 and 2020.

I hope you got your answer
