I passed class 12 in 2019 but I failed in biology subject but I took 6 subject and I passed in 5 subject but failed in biology is it possible to remove my biology subject in the marksheet because it creat a bad impression

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 11th Aug, 2021

Hi

No, there's no way to remove your biology from your certificate/marksheet.

This is because,

If you have 6 subjects ( 5+1 i. e 5 main and 1 optional or additional ) then irrespective of the optional/subjected opted by you, if you fail in one subject then it takes the place of optional or additional subject and the optional subject you had chosen becomes your main subject and the same is reflected on your marksheet and your result status is pass.

One can choose either to appear in the compartment examination of failed subject or not to appear as he has  already passed 12th.

Even if you had appeared in compartment examination of biology as a private candidate, still they would just provide you a  private passing certificate of biology only . Your original marksheet remains the same with failed in biology. So, there's no way to remove it .

But don't worry you won't face any problem

††††Personal experience :- I had friend who failed in maths and it was replaced by his optional hindustani music and his result status was pass,  but he  didn't face any problem and is studying BA in Allahabad university.

So, no worries even if failed biology is there in the certificate ,  what all matters is that you are pass in 12th.

Thank you

can I appear in jee advance exam? while I passed+2exam in 2019.

Akanksha 9th Aug, 2021
Hii

You are eligible to write JEE Mains only for 3 consequtive years including the year of passing your class 12th. Also, you are eligible to write JEE Advanced only for 2 consequtive years after your class 12th including the year of passing your class 12th.

As you have mentioned that you have passed your class 12th in 2019, hence you are eligible to write JEE Mains in the year 2019, 2020 and 2021. Also you were eligible to write JEE Advanced in the year 2019 and 2020.
Hence you are not eligible to write JEE Advanced for the year 2021.

Hope this helps

So, your obc ncl issued on 28.12.2019 was valid only till 31st March 2020

For neet 2021 counselling you need obc ncl certificate valid for the financial year 2021 -2022 whichmeans that you need obc ncl certificate issued either on 1st April 2021 or after it

Also,
Make sure that your obc ncl certificate is as per proforma prescribed by NTA and it should be issued by any of the competent authorities provided below:

---) District Magistrate or Additional Magistrate or Ist Class Stipendiary Magistrate or sub-Divisional Magistrate or Taluka Magistrate or Executive Magistrate

You can get obc ncl proforma on page number 102 of neet 2021 information brochure .

Neet information brochure 2021 :-https://ntaneet.nic.in/webinfo/File/GetFile?FileId=2&LangId=P

Now that,

limited time is left for neet 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

  • practising chapterwise questions

  • then revising the chapters,

  • solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation ,

I am currently preparing for CAT 2021and am worried about my further career prospects. Can any1 plz guide?

Anushri Varshney 6th Aug, 2021

Hi there,

First of all, ask yourself whether you are happy or not with what you are doing right now.

There might be issues with you but at last, it is only you who needs to work for achieving whatever you have wished for. See, do not worry about what has happened and trust me you have scored super we'll be in the 12th class. As you have mentioned that you are preparing for the CAT examination. Common Admission Test is an examination that allows candidates to get themselves enrolled in top B-Schools of India.

See, do not panic and worry. You have a lot of time to study. Please follow these :

  • Prepare a fixed timetable, add all the subjects with equal time.
  • Follow the timetable accordingly without fail.
  • If you are lagging in any subject then focus on that for more time. This will help you in making confidence.
  • Make sure to male proper and informative notes. Also, mark some details and crucial information with a highlighter.
  • Eat healthily and be stress-free. Do mediation if you feel any anxiety issue

It is high time and does your best. Do not waste any time. And please do follow procrastination. I hope this helps you.

Wishing you a very good luck:)
