I dont have my surname written in my aadhar card but it is written in my 10th Mark sheet so i sent my neet form with my sur name.Is it going to cause any trouble. Also i have submitted request to write my sur name in aadhar card but it will take atleast 15 days till then correction window will end.

Hello,

Submitting your NEET form with your surname, even if it is not on your Aadhar card, should generally not cause significant trouble. Since you have already requested a correction in your Aadhar card, keep proof of your request and any acknowledgment. If the correction is not processed before the NEET correction window ends, inform NEET authorities and follow their guidance.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing great.

As per your question, if your aadhar proof does not indicate the present residence, then update the same by going to the nearest Mee Seva centre. Or else you can contact the authorities of the NEET once, to rectify the doubt, then will definitely help you.

No need to worry if your aadhar card has old photo and not updated . Now let it be .

If there will be any issue , neet Examination authorities will send you a mail .

I have recently filled application for Neet 2024. For identification, I have put my old aadhar card and photo in it was taken when I was in 3rd standard. Will that create any issue? Do you think I should have updated my Aadhar card?

Pihu Sharma 23rd Feb, 2024

Thank you for your question!

Using an Aadhar card with a photo taken in the 3rd standard for your NEET 2024 application may pose identification concerns. It's generally advisable to use an Aadhar card with an up-to-date photograph to ensure accurate identification during the admission process.

Consider updating your Aadhar card with a recent photograph to align with your current appearance. This helps in preventing any potential issues during the verification process. If there's still time before the application deadline, you might want to consider updating your Aadhar card and then updating your NEET application with the revised information.
