hello,my eamcet application form date of birth is different to Aadhar card date of birth is it causes any problem

Sharon Rose Student Expert 28th Jul, 2021

Hello,

You will not face problem if the date of birth is different in Aadhaar card but you need to get it corrected by filling an application for correction in date of birth at the nearest Aadhaar enrolment center. For time being we would suggest you to carry any other Government photo Identity card such as Driving licence, PAN card, Voter ID, Passport to the examination center on the day of examination in which the date of birth is correct. The date birth on the hall ticket and application should match with the date of birth in the valid photo identity card.

Hello Aspirant,

You have to write the same name as mentioned in your class 10th marksheet so you have to use the name of class 10th marksheet because in certain ID Proofs there are different formats of name and hence class 10th marksheet is preferred for names.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 26th Jul, 2021

Hello,

As per the instructions given in JEE Main admit card you can carry any Government photo ID card along with your to the exam centre such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID, Driving License, Passport, E-Aadhaar etc. SO you can carry PAN card or Driving License to the exam centre. If you are still worried about it, you can actually download your Aadhaar card in https://uidai.gov.in/ website.

Visit the website, Click on "My Aadhaar" tab, click on " Download Aadhaar". Enter Aadhaar number or Enrolment number or Virtual ID whichever is available and enter the OTP or TOTP sent to the registered mobile number. Your Aadhaar card will be downloaded. You can take a print of it on a PVC card, laminate it and will be valid to provide it as identity proof at the exam center.

i have entered wrong DOB in neet application form and i have given identity proof as aadhar card..so can i eligible to correct my DOB??

PADMESH KRISH 25th Jul, 2021

Hello Aspirant!!

During the correction window is opened, you can't change the Date of birth, as you have attached Aadhar card as the Identity Proof.

But, Don't worry, According to NTA, if one has entered the DOB incorrectly and attached Aadhar as an identity proof, the Date of Birth in the Aadhar Card will be taken into account automatically.

So don't get panic. You will get the correct Date of Birth in the admit card too.

Hope this helps you!!

Best of Luck!!

my name is ankit in 10th mark sheet..& all other documents ( like 12th mark sheet , aadhar card) is Ankit kumar.. so, is there any problem at the time of du document verification process? i enrolled for du llb entrance exam

Subhrajit Mukherjee 2nd Sep, 2021

As per your question in all documents you have Kumar as a middle name where as in your 10th marksheet it Ankit. See this kind of issues can create a problem during your verification, but if you want to avoid such instances then I would recommend you to go to your nearest DM's office/Education Officer office in your district and get the problem discussed then can provide you some certificate of bonafide which can be helpful. Also you can visit your school and ask if there are some provisions through which any certfication can be provided by the school or for the correction of the marksheet if its possible then also you can correct it.

Hi Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, you should try to maintain a common spelling name in each and every document because if any changes are found or is detected can lead to cancellation of the admission. Sir/Mam, The Address on my Aadhar card is of Our U.P. Residence. but, since childhood, I have been in Delhi, did my full schooling from delhi. and Now, I want to fill my NEET application form with Delhis home address bcoz i want Delhi colleges to be my 1st preference in future. will that be ok?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 16th Jul, 2021

Yeah! That's fine. There are no such issues that Aadhar Card address must coincide with your present address. You will put this in your address line 1 and another in address line 2.

Now as you have grown up in Delhi and as I can assume that you have qualified your education from Delhi only, so you will surely be able to apply for 85% state quota seat in NEET 2021.

My Aadhar card has my photo as a child when i was around 8 years now i am 17 and appearing for NEET 2021.Can i use my Aadhar card as my photo id proof even though my picture is not very recognisable?

Shweta Goel 15th Jul, 2021

Hello aspirant,

Yes, yo u can use your Aadhar card for NEET registration as an identity proof even if you were very young at the time of application of Aadhar. Apart from this, you can also use PAN card, Voter ID card, etc for the same purpose.

Also, as the photograph in your Aadhar card is old, you can carry your recently clicked passport size photograph with you along with the Aadhar card.
