while filling the form of government exams. they ask academic percentage of class 10 and 12 so i can add marks of additional subject and how much subject should i add. please reply

Mallika Thaledder 26th Feb, 2024

In most cases, when calculating the academic percentage for Class 10 or Class 12 for government exam forms, only marks from the main subjects should be included. But, if the mark sheet does not mention any extra subject then you can include its marks as part of the total percentage. However, if subjects beyond the usual main 5 subjects are specifically marked as additional/optional, then you should not include them.

Hey!

For getting admission in 8th standard in a school, you should fill the admission forms with correct details. You should first select some schools in which you are considering to get your son enrolled in. Then you shall check out the school's website for admission process and admission forms. Nowadays due to the COVID Situation almost every school is conducting their admission online only. You should fill out the forms and submit it wherever it is required on time. Then if your son is shortlisted the school will inform the further processes online or through email or phone.

I am going to complete my 12th in academic year 2021-22, I want admission in IIST, but I am not prepared to appear for jee main and jee advanced in 2022 so can I give jee main and jee advanced directly in 2023 without appearing in 2022,to apply for admission in IIST?

Aditya 19th Feb, 2022

Hi aspirant,

At first it is all ok if you are not prepared and do not want to appear for the examination but it's recommended to atleast appear in the same so that you can be aware of difficulty level and type of questions asked. In order to be eligible for JEE main or advanced examination the basic criteria is that the candidate must have completed intermediate with PCM as subjects generally with 75 percentage aggregate. Also he or she can only appear for JEE main in consecutive 3 and JEE advanced in consecutive 2 years starting from the year of intermediate examination. So you can directly appear in JEE main and advanced 2023 even if do not appear for the sessions this year.

You can know more about the same at JEE Main 2023 - Dates, Exam Pattern, Syllabus, Eligibility, Application Form (careers360.com)

Hope it helps!

I am studying in 12th class in the academic year 2021-22 ,can I directly give my jee main and jee advanced in 2023 without appearing in 2022 in order to get admission in IIST,through jee main and jee advanced

Sree Student Expert 19th Feb, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Ofcourse, you can directly give JEE Mains and JEE Advanced in 2023 , skipping of JEE Mains in 2022 will cost you one attempt down out of 3 attempts in 3 consecutive years. After qualifying JEE Mains only then you can appear in JEE Advanced entrance exam.

Yes, you'll be eligible for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced in 2023 and 2024 also as you would complete your 12 th standard in 2022 and if you meet other eligibility criteria like age criteria, minimum 75 marks in 12 th standard in science stream from a recognised Board and 65 percentage for reservation category candidates, etc.

You'll be eligible for JEE Mains in 3 consecutive years from the year you finish your 12 th standard including that year i.e you are eligible for JEE Mains in 2022, 2023 and 2024.  JEE Advanced can be attempted twice in consecutive years.

I am studying in 12th class in the academic year 2021-22, and I am an aspirant of jee mains and jee advanced in 2023 so can I get admission in IIST in 2023?Also can I directly give jee main and jee advanced in 2023 without appearing in 2022?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 18th Feb, 2022

Hello,

If you pass 10+2 in the year 2022 then you are eligible to appear for JEE Main 2022, JEE Main 2023 and JEE Main 2023 because a candidate can appear for JEE Main for three consecutive years from the year of passing in the qualifying examination that is 10+2 or its equivalent. And you can appear for JEE Advanced for two consecutive years from the year of passing in the qualifying examination so you can appear for JEE Advanced 2022 and JEE Advanced 2023 provided you must qualify in JEE Main 2022 and JEE Main 2023 respectively. This is applicable even if you do not appear for JEE Main 2022 and JEE Advanced 2022, you can appear for JEE Main 2023 and qualify in it to appear for JEE Advanced 2023. The admission in to IIST is based on JEE Advanced score. So you can JEE Main 2023 and qualify in it to appear for JEE Advanced 2023 in order to apply for admission in to IIST.

Does universities start their academic classes right after entrance exam?

Saachi Khandare 8th Jan, 2022

Hello candidate,

Universities usually give a break ( which varies from college to college or some Colleges even don't give also) right after the entrance exam.

Sometimes universities don't give any information about holidays and all, they just totally hand over the decision on colleges.

Hope this will help you

Be connected for more details

Thank you

Hey guys my 12th is going to start iam in commerce stream and I want to score atleast 95+ as Delhi University cutoffs are going very high but my academic past is not good: 8th-74 9th-62 10th-91 11th-63 Pls guide my how to start my 12 and could I get that much marks?

mrinalini048 16th Feb, 2022

Hey!

First of all, you don't need to get worried about your previous class scores as you will find many such students who have made a drastic change in their scores as compared to their previous year scores.

  • Since you have taken commerce, make sure you solve and practice questions daily, as in revise whatever is taught in all subjects especially solving subjects like accountancy. You must make it in your schedule to study and revise the topics of accountancy on a daily basis or else you will face trouble in the subject.
  • Solve each and every question of the books in each subject. You will get similar questions in your board exams as well.
  • From the beginning, make proper notes so that it will assist you in revising the concepts.
  • Whichever doubt you face, make sure to ask your concerned teachers regarding the query.
  • Make it a habit to study topics of each chapter on a regular basis because if you start preparing before the exams, it would be too burdensome and it is most likely you won't be able to cover each topic.
  • After completing of a chapter of each subject, you can solve the questions of that particular chapter from previous year board question papers.

All the best!

I have completed D.Pharmacy from karnataka this year.Due to covid, karnataka government conducted exams offline. Results were declared on 9feb 2022 for the academic yr(2020-2021).I passed with 63% now I want to do admission in Maharashtra. Can I get admission by government seat for B.Pharm2 year in MH?

Moumoyee Chakraborty 14th Feb, 2022

Hello Aspirant!!

Yes I can totally understand the situation you have gone through and the reason behind 63% score of yours. But the fact is depending on the marks that you scored which is around 63% it is somewhat difficult to make it through B.Pharm lateral entry in the second year.

There are few colleges who conduct their own Entrance Exam and if you perform well in that you can expect a good seat. For the Government Colleges it would be somewhat difficult but better not to loose hope and you can try for the government colleges but keep the private options in hand too.

Good luck!!!
