I have paid the part academic fees of Rs.40k for the allotted. Sliding done has been done. Today is the last date of reporting at the college. If I wish to cancel my admission, what procedure should be done? Will I not get refund if I dont report at the college? i just want refund. #IP_University

SRUTHI V 29th Nov, 2021

yes , you have to report at the college . only then the cancellation process will get completed and college would give the details about your refund like whether the entire amount will be refunded or the refund amount will be partial..hence you have to report at the college about your cancellation of admission.

colleges should I target if am having poor academic

guptashrutiajay 20th Oct, 2021

Well, you haven't specified anything and the NEET result can be out at any moment so I suppose you're talking about MBBS. You can seek admission only by the counseling process. However, it is difficult to determine the colleges you can target without knowing your whereabouts, and a conclusion is made only by the counseling process. NEET counseling and selection is determined by factors like:

  1. Your NEET Score and Rank
  2. Your Domicile State
  3. Your category
  4. Whether you wish to seek admission through AIQ or State Quota

However, if you have a poor academic performance you can try getting admission in private or deemed colleges if you have a good financial background and you qualify NEET. You can also try for any other paramedical course.

For your scope, you can use the NEET College Predictor Tool to check your selection.

and view the colleges you can target.

Wishing you all the best

Can I study distant MCOM + Full-time MBA simultaneously? If yes, Will it still be very difficult for me to maintain good academic records for both? (Im slightly above average student)

pdwords Student Expert 16th Oct, 2021

Hello,

Yes, UGC now allows candidates to pursue two degree courses simultaneously, however one is through distance mode, and another through regular mode, so you can go ahead with MBA in full time and MCom in distance, however this is definitely not going to be easy to deal with, moreover MBA is a professional degree, anybody aiming for a scale up in management career aims for MBA, hence it's imperative you do well during your studies, and of course placement is an important factor here, that's what is the main motive of pursuing management studies, personally I believe if you have strong interest towards this then put your whole hearted energy, and stick with one only, also you should consider pondering upon what are your career goals when it comes to pursuing MBA and MCom, the latter options is good in case of recruitment pertaining to the domain of public sectors banks, you can appear for UGC NET or state SETs to become assistant professor, or having a BEd degree will make you eligible for a teaching career whereas the scope of MBA is more prevalent in corporate domain, so think through all this before making any decision regarding the same.

rajeevanand843 14th Oct, 2021

Dear aspirant

You can change your addhar card name by going on addhar center and giving your academic marks card as proof of documents. It get changed almost in week if it's get changed you can download your addhar card online and take.

As your academic marks card have the same name, it's not different so it not should much problem and you can tell your counseling authority that you have applied for change in name of addhar card and you can show receiving which you may get after you apply for change. Make sure other data match with your academic cards like dob, father's name if it's there etc.

You can also use other identity proof like Pan card, voter ID or passport, driving licence instead of addhar card. As that only works as identity card of you.

Hope this information helps you

In all my academic markscard i have only name and in my aadhar card i havw my name with initials so will there be any problem during my kcet documents verification if yes what shud i do i have only 4 days lwft for verification.

Aditya 15th Oct, 2021

Hi aspirant,

You need not to worry much about it. There is quite common solution for it, you need to carry a self attested affidavit claiming both the persons in Aadhar Card and academic marksheet are same and it should be supported by relevant documents. Also make sure to caring your parents document for verification as it will make your case much easier for verification officer to verify.

However the final decision will be done by the officer and dead would be final though it works in more than 90% of the cases but I cannot assure you for the same.

Hope it helps!!
