Yes B.Com is good for career in Accounting because it has the following subjects,

Accounting & Finance management

Cost management

Auditing

Economics

Human Resource

Export ManagementIndustrial Psychology etc.

as there is a subject Accounting and Finance management, you can get that there is related to accountancy in B.Com .

Sir I am in class 12 th. Can I now register for CA CPT or CA Foundation or I have to wait till I pass class 12th ?

Hello Aspirant,

You will have to pass class 12 as minimum requirement in that the individual must have completes his/her class 12th.

You need to go for Chartered Accountants course and appesr for CA Foundation course first after12th.

Upon clearing you can appear for IPCC both groups.

After clearing IPCC, you need to have 3years of articleship and ITT training only after that you appear for Final CA examination to earn certificate of chartered accountants.

You can apply for Accounting jobs at Banks, Audit Firms, Rating agencies, etc simply from job portals like Naukri, Glassdoor, Linkedin, etc or also on career section page of each conpany.

Incase you are asking about chartered accountants then you can dkrectly apply for intermediate course (IPCC) if you are graduate.

I would like to tell you that you are eligible for writing CAT and Other Entrance Exams (Minm 50% Gradtn). Chances of top MBA colleges depend on how well you perform in the exam. Looking at your work experience in management field as accountant, Business Manager,dept store it would be not that tough to crack interview process but the initial step is to crack exam to get GD/PI Call for which you should atleast target above 95-98percentile in CAT to get Tier 1 B-school.

Your prima facie focus should be on CAT,NMAT,IBSAT,SNAP if you're targeting those colleges.

Interview will be mostly based on your track record of work ex you did and you have quite good chance in it. A good preparation of overall subject will help you sail through these process.

I would also like to suggest to try for Executive MBA Program which is 1Yr PGP Programme conducted by IIM's and other Top Bschool . It requires minm 3-5yr work Ex. It would be time saving and added advantage.

Charted accountant is the over hard course or it is the hard course

Hello Anupranjan,

CA is one of the hardest profession to get into and yes its papers have a very good difficulty level. It is one of the hardest exam in India.

But don't worry its not at all impossible. You can easily crack it with just some hard work. So you need to have all your basics very clear and build the rest course strong. With hard work you may easily creck this exam.
