What is the difference between B. com Accounting and Finance and B.Com Professional Accounting ? Which is best? Which is correct choice for career in finace related in logistics dept?

pranjalg462 18th Jun, 2022

The course is like B.Com (H) in finance. The distinction lies in the way that you can work in a specific subject in B.Com (H), yet the B.Com (P) course provides you with an outline of the large number of subjects shown in the distinctions course. You can seek advanced education after your graduation.

Alumni of B.Com Professional course have umpteen number of open positions in bookkeeping, the board, charge structure, and some more. Alongside it, B.Com Professional alumni are favored all over the place, including private as well as open areas though you can secure positions in the fields of Business Analyst, Money Manager, Risk Analyst, Senior Accountant, Market Analyst, Financial Analyst, clerk/Teller, Executive Assistant, Investment Banker, etc. in BCom Accounting and Finance.

Both the courses are good but for the finance and logistics department, I would suggest you choose BCom Accounting and Finance because it will give you in-depth knowledge of the same.

All the best! Choose wisely!

In Financial Accounting (BCom) how they give marks? I mean if i write all entries properly but my balance sheet does not tally, will they give me zero marks or they will give me some marks?

mrinalini048 19th Feb, 2022

Hey!

If you have written your entries properly and if they are correct but your balance sheet does not tally, it means that there were some mistakes or something missed in your answer. But, when it comes to checking and allotting marks, if you have written the answer and some of it or half of it is correct, you will surely recieve some marks because when it comes to papers like accountancy and maths, step by step marking of questions is done. Step-by- step marking of questions is done so you will not review full marks in that question but surely for the steps you have written correctly, you will be awarded marks for that. But, if it's an MCQ question where you just have to select one options, if you have selected the wrong option, you won't receive any marks for that.

I have done my graduation in bsc and now pursuing law confused between litigation and coorporate. can i become cooperate lawyer as I dont any qualification like accounting. if yes what all I need to do

Sanjali Shukla 12th Feb, 2022

Hi Akshay,

See, it depends on your interest on which field you want to enter. Litigation requires a lot of practice and consistency whereas even in corporate you need to work very hard and yes, you should have basic knowledge of accountancy, atleast the ones you have been taught at college, but as I see you are not going for integrated course, you are opting 3years LL.B, so you might have few subjects related to corporate law, that would help you but have a basic knowledge of accountacy is what I would suggest, otherwise you can go for any specialization course after completing your LL.B in corporate law, that will benefit you surely.

Thanks.
