harshitasharansrivastava Student Expert 10th Jan, 2021

Hi dear,

You have not mentioned the name of the exam you are appearing for and for which you are unable to download your admit card. Hence it is difficult for me to tell you the exact source from where you can get your registration details back. However, most of the exam, the authority sends an email and text message on the registered number while registering. I'll recommend you to check your email, and messages for your registration details. Also, apart from this you can contact the helpline of exam conducting body to get your details.

Good Luck

admit card of all sections of jee mains 2021 is same if I fill all sections feb, March, April and may in one application form

Anurag Khanna 9th Jan, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See in the information brochure released by NTA for JEE-Main 2021 there is no any point addressing the concerned issue but most probably the admit cards for different attempts will be issued prior to the attempt for e.g., for February attempt it will be released in second week of February '21 and so on.

On December 16th 2020 the application process for JEE-Main 2021 February attempt has been started by National Testing Agency (NTA) which is the conducting authority for JEE-Main 2021. You can apply for JEE-Main from the official portal of JEE-Main which is given below :-

https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/webinfo2021/Page/Page?PageId=1&LangId=P

Note that this application process will continues till January 16th 2021 and last date for payment of application fee is January 17th 2021 after which neither application nor application fee will be accepted and then after the correction window will be opened for the applicants from January 19th to January 21st 2021. Admit cards will be available for download from second week of February 2021 and the examination will be conducted from February 23rd to February 26th 2021 in two shifts per day, for February attempt.

A candidate will also have option to apply for one Session or more than one Session (February/ March /April /May 2021) together and pay exam fee accordingly. In other words, if a candidate wishes to apply only for one Session, he / she has to pay Examination Fee only for that Session during the current application period and will have opportunity to apply again for the March/ April / May Sessions.

Note that the photographs or images which you will be uploading for JEE-Main 2021 should be as same as the criteria set by NTA which are enlisted below as per the official information brochure released by NTA :-

> The recent photograph should be either in colour or black/white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.

> File size for candidate’s photograph should be in the range of 10 kb - 200 kb. File size for candidate’s signature should be in the range of 4kb - 30kb.

> File size for duly verified result awaited attestation form should be in the range of 50kb - 500kb.

> File size for category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.) should be in the range of 50kb to 300KB.

> File size for PwD certificate should be in the range of 50kb - 300kb in jpg/jpeg format.

Some insights of JEE-Main 2021 :-

> To qualify for JEE Mains, there is no minimum aggregate percentage criteria but yes if you want to take admission into NITs, IIITs or CFTIs then you should score a minimum aggregate of 75% in your class 12th if you belongs to General/Unreserved category and 65% if you belongs to any of the reserved category.

> Also from this year according to New Education Policy the JEE-Main examination will be conducted in English, Hindi and other regional languages such as Bengali, Gujarati, Assamese, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Odia and Malayalam.

> In JEE-Main 2021 there will be total 90 question out of which you have to attempt only 75 (25 from each section) and there will be two sections for each subject, Section-A will be of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)(20 compulsory questions) and Section-B will contain Questions whose answers are to be filled in as a numerical value (10 numerical based questions out of which only 5 are compulsory to be attempted).

> In Section B, candidates have to attempt any five questions out of 10. There will be no negative marking for Section B.

> All question will be of 4 marks and in MCQs there will be negative marking of (-1) on incorrect attempt.

This year JEE-Main is being conducted with slight changes in it's pattern and it's conduction and you can check out all the changes from the link given below :-

I have some physical constraints on my eye and thus facing problems in reading the questions on screen. I had applied for compenstory time of extra 1 hour under my pwd category and today in admit card i was given the requirement. So is it necessary to attempt test series of less time now?

Shrishty sahu 8th Jan, 2021
Dear student,
Now since you will have one hour more for attempting the examination you need not practice the test series of the normal time. However enroll in test series of 3 hours might increase your speed and you might perform better on the day of the examination. So it is up to what you wish to do.

Why we are asked to take a printout of the CONFIRMATION PAGE of JEE Mains application form when its nowhere used?? Even at centres, they ask for Gov. Identity proof, two passport size photos and admit card only.

Shruti Smaranika 6th Jan, 2021

Hello aspirant,

It is suggested for you to take the print out of the confirmation page of JEE Mains because it may be asked by the officials for future reference. Of course at centers, they only ask for government identity proof, passport sized pictures and admit card only but still take the print out for your benefit only. If ever it is asked by the officials, you can show it without any hesitant.

Hope, this answer helps you.
