Hello
You have not mention from which category you are . As the cutoff is different for different category. As for iit the cutoff of the general category is in between 750-500. Likewise for every category cutoff is different. So please provide from which category you are .
Hope this helps
Thank you

hello,
joining air force and aeronautical engineering are two separate things. But at some extends it there are lot of similarity you can see. If you want to join air force THEN you need to give gate exam and have 70% in your batchlor degree (b.tech/BE).
IAF Aeronautical Engineering Exams Eligibility Criteria:
First Division High on merit of valid GATE scores of 70% and above in following subjects:-
* BE/ B tech (Electronics)/Telecommunication / Electrical / Electrical / Electrical Communication / Electronics Communication / Instrumentation / Computer Science and Engineering or a combination of these subjects. * Diploma in Electronics of Madras Institute of Technology. * B Tech in Radio Physics and Electronics/Optics and Opt Electronics/Optics and Opto Electronics. * Section A & B Examination of the Associate membership examination of the Institute of Engineers (India) in Electrical, Electronics of Tele Communication subjects. * Graduate membership examination of the Institute of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineers with subjects of section A and full subjects of section B by actual studies (Maths, Applied Electronics and Circuits, Principles of Communication Engineering transmission lines and networks.) * Section A and B of examination of Aeronautical society of India by actual studies in Avionics/Communication streams. * MCA with Maths, Physics and Electronic at graduation level & M Sc Tech in Electronics and Radio Engineering. * M Sc Degree in Physics (with Electronics), Electronics computer Science, Computer Application.
hope this will help you
all the best!!!
Greetings,
I'd personally say IIT Kanpur is the best choice for Aeronautical Engineering because;
- They have a really vibrant research culture in their department of aeronautical and aerospace engineering.
- They have their own Air strip for testing.
- The students are dedicated towards competitions involving drones, flight mechanics, etc.
In short, the culture at IIT Kanpur for this branch at least is better than other IITs
good day
Both those fields are pretty different as far as their curriculum and career prospects are concerned.
AI engineering is a relatively new field whereas aeronautical engineering has a solid record and history of being a good branch.
- both of them are niche fields of study, which means that they are suitable for a particular type of job only but I think that AI engineering will take off in the coming years as more and more research is being done in that area.
- speaking of research, both fields are solid in terms of research opportunities too.
bottom line is:
aeronautical engineering may have limited job prospects but they are highly paid and require a certain level of skill.
AI engineering has not got many direct job opportunities so most AI engineering graduates may end up doing what the IT graduates are doing.
if you want jobs and a respectable field then aeronautical is good, if you want to go with the times and contribute in research then AI is great.
good luck
Hello,
From your profile it seems you belong to karnatake, hence I presume your query is for KPSC , you can appear for assistant conservator of forest as well as rain forest officer post as the eligibility criteria is passed BTech from any recognized university with 50%, in case of range forest officer also the eligibility criteria is passed degree in engineering from a recognized university, hence after completion of graduation you are eligible to apply for both the posts.
By solving GATE previous year question papers, students can prepare themselves with the exam pattern, type of questions asked, weightage given to each section, marking scheme and other important aspects of GATE 2021 but there are changes in GATE 2021 pattern so prepare accordingly. Have a great day!
Hii,
If if you are having a true will within yourself and some desire and dedication then you can do anything and opt for anything.
So, it's matter little that you are not having computer science in your 10+2 but you can learn programming languages within 2-3 month there are ample of online courses available and Tutorials also.
Entry-level aerospace engineers usually need a bachelor's degree.
High school students interested in studying aerospace engineering should take courses in chemistry, physics, advanced math, and computer programming and computer languages.
# Elegibility criteria generally include :-
Students who have successfully completed 12th or equivalent with PCM/ PCB are eligible to apply for the entrance exam for Aeronautical Engineering for B. tech. course.
The minimum percentage required for it is 60% for most of the entrance examinations.
So, yes you can definitely apply for the admission in aeronautical engineering programs just have that courage within you and patience overwhelming you can learn programming skills definitely it not stop you to reach to your goal.
Hope this will help you,
All the very best!!
