Dear Aspirant,
Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University, Kakinada is a well known college of Andhra Pradesh. It provides admission to students with a much better rank as it hires the best students of the state and other states.
Based on previous year's estimates for cut off, taking an admission for aeronautical engineering requires a good rank in AP EAMCET which varies from college to college.
For JNTUK, earlier the maximum cutoff was close to 10,500. So you can see that getting admission in JNTUK, especially in aeronautical branch is extremely difficult. If you have a good sports quota rank like within 200 or 300 or something less, then you may hope of getting admission in the prestigious institution.
As far as Andhra University, with respect to your rank, it is comparatively much easier for you to get admission in.
