Yes you can definitely write jee mains examination for taking admission in Aeronautical engineering.

For me the best option for aeronautical engineering will be IIT Madras and IIEST Shibpur . But for that you need to get good marks and rank in jee mains and jee advanced.

The cut offs depends upon certain factors such as number of candidates appearing in the examination, previous year cutoffs and difficulty level of the paper.
