is it any way to go for aeronautical engineering from mit Chennai after bsc .

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 7th Apr, 2020
Hello,

The eligibility for admission in B.E in Aeronautical engineering atis Madras Institute of Technology is that a candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination wih Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.Admission is based on TNEA counseling where your 12th marks in taken into consideration and there is cut throat competition for that. You will not get admission so you should better go for M.Sc through IIT JAM examination, that's a good option in my opinion.

I hope this helps.

CAN WE TAKE PCMB IN PRE-UNIVESITY AND THEN DO AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 5th Apr, 2020
Hey there

Yes you can take PCMB in your 10+2 or pre-university  and then after pre university you can go for engineering courses like  engineering in aeronautics etc

Actually for the engineering courses and their entrance examination , the requirement is that you should have studied physics and maths along with other chemistry or biology etc.

For example to be eligible for JEE mains, criteria is that you should have passed your class 12th board examination with

  • Physics
  • Mathematics
  • Any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject),

Thus,  you will be eligible for aeronautical engineering after your pre- university with pcmb.

Thankyou
