can i get aerospace engineering college at 53%percent?

Sayan 3rd Aug, 2022

Hello,

One of the most sought-after majors for students who want to work with space shuttles, aeroplanes, and other aircraft is "Aerospace Engineering."

The students' proficiency in mathematics, physics, and chemistry is one of the course's fundamental prerequisites. After completing their 10+2 science requirements with a satisfactory grade (more than 50%)

In India, there are three different aeronautical engineering course categories.

  • A three-year polytechnic diploma programme is available after passing the 10 or 10+2 exam.
  • After passing the 10+2 exam, UG degree programmes lasting 4 years lead to the BE/B.Tech.
  • after completing a UG engineering degree, 2 year long PG degree programmes leading to a ME/M.Tech.
  • After completing a PG degree in AE, doctoral degree programmes with a duration of one to two years are available.

As per your query, you are eligible to apply in aerospace engineering.

Thank You

I got 97.8 percentage in class 12 cbse boards, but 83 percentile in jee mains. Will I get sastra Tanjore fot aerospace engineering?

Sevit Kar 26th Jul, 2022

Hello,

As you secured 97.8 percentage in class 12th let me tell you that it's a good score but your jee mains percentile is a bit low so you will definitely get a seat over there but one can't predict the exact branch that you will.

There are chances for you to get electrical and electronics and the core branches but there are factors to be considered like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

is pursuing Aerospace engineering in SRM/ Chandigarh university I mean other than in IITs NITs , IIITS is better choice or bad choice? otherwise I go for CSE. need genuine replies as I confused a lot

pranayg285 21st Jul, 2022

Hello,

It's not like only Graduates from IIT's or NIT's are successful. Colleges like SRM, BITS, MIT are also good and provide really good opportunities for the students. If you want to pursue Aerospace Engineering then both SRM & Chandigarh University don't have a good placement record.

I would suggest you to opt for Computer science engineering as it has massive scope in the near future and it is emerging as an evergreen field now. You should Choose SRM over Chandigarh University as it has a better placement record with some of the best companies in their respective fields.

If you are studying in a private university then you have to maintain a good academic record so that when the companies come for in campus placements they can hire you at a good pay.

Is aerospace engineering mandatory to join ISRO? And what if I dont get into IISC, IIT or NIT? Will I be able to ever get into ISRO?

Maitri Mandal 20th Jul, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Aerospace Engineering is not mandatory to join ISRO. If you want to do engineering after 12th and after want to join ISRO then you can pursue B.Tech/ B.E.  any of the following specialization-

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electronics Engineering
  • Aerospace Engineering
  • Computer Science Engineering
  • Radio Engineering and other related courses.

If you don't get into IISC, IIT or NIT, after completing your B.Tech/B.E from any Institution/college  you can take the test that is conducted by ISRO. This test includes a written exam and a personal interview.

You can also join ISRO after your Post Graduation. If you don't want to do B.Tech/B.E. then you can pursue Bachelor's and Masters in Physics. After that also you will able to join ISRO.

Hope this information will help you.

What is the procedure after completing diploma in machanical to join aerospace engineering

mhsteja 20th Jul, 2022

Hi aspirant...!

Hope you're doing great...!

So, with regard of you're query. You can pursue Aerospace Engineering after earning your Mechanical Engineering diploma. Candidates with a diploma are eligible to study engineering under the lateral entrance program.

  • Seats are set aside in engineering institutes for lateral entrance applicants. Successful completion of a diploma program at an AICTE-approved institution is a must.
  • A diploma from college with at least a 60% grade point average.

Some engineering universities provide direct admission through the Management Quota program.

However, some universities need you to take an entrance exam.

Aerospace engineering is only available from a small number of colleges.

The field of aerospace engineering is fairly broad.

Aerospace engineers will be hired by ISRO, and if you perform in your field, you can land a job in a prominent organization. You can work at factories that make aeroplanes, to learn about leading Aerospace.

Hope this will helps you...!

GOOD LUCK...!
