SRM is one of the Best colleges for aerospace engineering. Aeronautics is a course which requires strong fundamentals and lots of hard work. The course is contains totally different subjects compared to any other course in engineering, so there is no “better” stream.
I’d suggest you to look out for facilities provided by the institute like labs and machinery. I did not mention faculty because teaching plays a very minor role for aeronautics, it is more of a self-study oriented subject. You’ll have to solve a lot of problems by referring various textbooks.

Mahatma Gandhi mission Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College does not offer diploma course in aerospace engineering to the students. However Central tool room and training centre Bhubaneswar offers diploma in Aerospace Manufacturing (not in Aerospace Engineering). The total fees of postgraduate diploma in Aerospace Engineering is 60000. It is a one year duration course which is offered for 30 seats.
