Agricultural Engineering
Hello aspirant,
As you mentioned that you want to enquire about agricultural engineering at Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya or CSE in Government College of Engineering and textile Technology, Serampore.
As it is clear that you want to compare the two colleges. So you can use the College compare tool where you can compare the facilities, academics, placements and other information about the two colleges perfectly.
Hope this helps
You didn't mention your region (Au/Svu/unreserved) so I'm providing the details of all regions,
If you belong to AU region and having farmers quota then you can get Horticulture and Food technology. For non farmers quota it is not possible to get any branch in Au region.
If you belong to Svu region and having farmers quota then you can get Food technology and B. Fsc and for non farmers quota it is not possible to get any branch.
For unreserved region, it is not possible to get any of the branch but you can get pay seat in Horticulture.
For getting veterinary or agriculture bsc, you need to get a rank below 6000.
Hope this helps.
Good luck
Hello Aspirant,
Yes, agricultural engg. has a great potential for earning. There are abundant opportunities worldwide. Agriculture Engineering graduates can work as a lecturer or professor in government or private universities or institutes. The scope is more for candidates who go for higher education after the B. Tech course.
Employment of agricultural engineers is projected to grow 2 percent from 2019 to 2029, slower than the average for all occupations. The need to increase the efficiency of agricultural production systems and to reduce environmental damage should maintain demand for these workers. Most agricultural engineers work in offices, with frequent research visits to farms, labs, or rural areas. They work for government offices, engineering firms, universities, and manufacturers. The ultimate goal for these engineers is to improve crop and livestock production.
Hope this information helps you.Feel free to ask more questions.
Have a good day!!
You didn't mention your category and farmers quota is applicable or not. Since you are a non local candidate ,if you belong to sc/st/Bc-E categories then you can expect an Agriculture Bsc seat.
For categories like Bc-A, Bc-B, Bc-C, Bc-D the previous year cutoff rank was below 3500.since the cutoff's changes from year to year, it is difficult to say exactly.
Dear candidate,
As per my prediction you have very good chances of getting a seat in agriculture at Rajendranagar campus. Ypu can get a seat in Acharya NG ranga agriculture college ,Rajendranagar. This all depends upon cutoff which considers some factors like no. of students , category, rank ,previous years trends, candidates appeared in exam etc. So nevertheless you have considerably good rank that you will clear the cutoff . So go for counselling and get a clearance on the same.
Hope this helps..
