Aditi amrendra Student Expert 9th Oct, 2019
Hello,

Agriculture business management is a specialised two-year MBA programme which focuses on business aspect of agriculture production and its international trade. The postgraduate course aims to craft professional business leaders and entrepreneurs in food, agriculture and allied sectors. The course is offered in premier business schools in India and across the globe and focuses on managerial economics in the agricultural sector. Students learn how to make sustainable business decisions and minimise risk while working in the agricultural sector. The course curriculum is designed to build and enhance a global perspective among students. The course also creates awareness among students about the environmental forces that impact managerial decisions.

After doing M.Sc you will get opportunities in Government as well as Private job. In Government jobs, State Agriculture Departments recruits Graduates to fill up Officer level posts. Government Colleges also hires M. Sc graduates as Lecturers. Government Banks also hires them to fill up Officer level posts. In Private Sector , graduates may find jobs as Managers at Plantations, as Officers at Fertilizer Manufacturing firms, Agriculture Machinery Industries, Agricultural Products Marketing firms, Food Processing firms etc. One may also work as a Lecturer in Private Colleges to.

So, basically you can get job in government and private sector from both the courses. So, you can choose whichever course as both can fetch you a decent job.

Good Luck

Papiya Mazumder 27th Sep, 2019

Hello,

As per your requirement, i would say that for admission into agricultural bsc and your rank is 6470, in eamcet so you have quite a good decent rank to get admission.

Cut off varries every year.

Getting a seat in college is depending on many factors like studenrs to seat ratio, cut off, reservation, ranking of college, etc

Cut off varies evert year as per your reservation category and no. Of students applying for the same.

Good luck

between bhu bsc ag and du bsc ag which is better in placemaent and study

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 31st Oct, 2019
Hello.
Delhi University and Banaras Hindu University both are the  big brands but still if we compare these so for traditional course it is well known that Delhi University is popular and for campus life Banaras Hindu University is much better (only for boys)
as far as placement is considered so Banaras Hindu University is little bit better than Delhi University.
Best of luck.

my ap eamcet rank Is 27195 ...i has been applied for agriculture counselling with farmer quota belonging to oc catogery. can I get Ag or horticulture seat in second counselling of (angrua).

Diksha gupta 17th Sep, 2019

Hi,

Usually the cutoff for agriculture goes high, since the competition is cutthroat. The chances to get admission in BSc agriculture is very low even though you have farmers quota. Since the counseling is over, I would suggest you to work harder, give yourself a year more(if you can) and grab a seat of your choice. In case if any stray round is left, you can try your luck.

I hope this helps.
