im belongs to sc caste and my cutoff is 149 does i have chance to take agri

Vishwathiga J 8th Jul, 2022

Dear aspirant,

Looking at the previous year cutoffs, to get into government agriculture colleges via TNAU for doing BSc agriculture, you need a cutoff of atleast 175+. But you definitely have an option of doing horticullture, biotechnology etc. You can try applying to other government agricultural colleges that don't come under TNAU.

Agricultural College and Research Institute(AC & RI), Coimbatore

Horticultural College and Research Institute(HC & RI), Coimbatore

Agricultural College and Research Institute(AC & RI), Madurai

Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute(AEC & RI), Coimbatore

Agricultural College and Research Institute(AC & RI), Killikulam

Hope this helps.

Divyanshi8873 31st Dec, 2021

Hi ,

According to me at last of December most of Admissions are  almost close .

I think It's quit difficult for getting admission yet.

But, One thing you can do that is just prepare for entrance Examination

because there are several best Universities that gives good Placement

in Bsc Agriculture, and provide Entrance Based Admissions.   Its average package is around 7-14 lakhs /Annum depends upon the post.

There are several list of Best Universities

Delhi University - provide Bsc Agriculture course. It takes merit based admission. Here Physics, Chemistry ,Biology as the main subject .

Amity is a private institution but provide best placement.

KSIMT (New Delhi) and Punjab University both take entrance based admissions

and provide best Placement.

The Application form will release for these  universities in month of June on wards. Then you can apply

I hope this will helpful to you

wishing you luck!

Im currently studying Agri business management in university of agricultural science Dharwad i got a recruitment at GDSABPM POST at post office shall i take it or continue study?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 31st Jan, 2021

hi,

see it is really a tough decisions you have to make. I assume you are in post graduation , so it would take at least of two years to complete. now gramin dak sevak job is pure government. so now you have to chose between the job and the your desire to complete the higher education. mba in agribusiness management is quite demanding and have excellent career  prospect available in agricultural industry. so if you have confidence that you can make a better career in that field I would suggest to continue the studies. unless you may leave to join your job.

bvsc&ah or agbsc which is the best course

S. Saha Student Expert 26th Jun, 2020

Both the courses are best in their own way and have a wide scope of career opportunities. However, BSc Agriculture has more scopes in future compared to Veterinary sciences. Opening up your own clinic would cost more. Bsc agriculture has many higher studies options, BVSc also has higher studies option. But in terms of scope and furthur career option BSc agriculture would be good to choose. However, you can choose the one which suits you and in which you can put all your efforts.
