SEJAL JAIN 18th Jul, 2025

Hello

PJTSAU counselling for B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture usually takes place around June to July every year. If you're applying through EAPCET, CUET, or AGRICET, keep an eye on the official PJTSAU website during this time. You'll need to carry important documents like your 10+2 marksheet, entrance exam rank card, and caste or EWS certificate if applicable. Staying updated with the official notifications will help you secure your seat without any last-minute stress.

Can i get admission in btech agriculture in ouat with a general rank of 5075?

Ayush Madanpotra 18th Jul, 2025

With a general rank of 5075 in OUAT, it is difficult to get admission in B.Tech Agriculture (Agricultural Engineering) at OUAT Bhubaneswar. In the past years, general category students who got admission in this course had ranks around 1200 to 1300. So your rank is higher than the cutoff.

OUAT gives marks by combining 50% entrance marks, 25% from class 10, and 25% from class 12. Based on this system, students with better overall scores usually get admission in B.Tech Agriculture.

With your rank, you may not get a seat in the main campus for B.Tech Agriculture. You can check for other courses like B.Sc Agriculture, Horticulture, or Home Science in other OUAT colleges where cutoff may be lower. You can also look at private or self-financed colleges that offer Agricultural Engineering.

If you belong to a reserved category, like SC, ST, or OBC, you may get a chance in counselling through category quota.

i got 74 percentile in OUAT and Im SC catagory can i got sit in Agriculture BBSR

Ayush Madanpotra 17th Jul, 2025

With 74 percentile in OUAT and being from the SC category, you have a good chance to get admission in B.Sc. Agriculture at Bhubaneswar. Last year, students from the SC category got seats in this course with a percentile around 68.9%. Your score is higher than that, so your chances are strong.

But final admission also depends on your total merit score, which includes your marks in the entrance test, Class 10, and Class 12.

Counselling will usually start around August. You will need to register and fill your choice of college and course on the official OUAT website.

You should regularly check the official website for updates.

i habe secured 77.9 weightage in ouat can i get a seat in ouat bbsr for bsc agriculture??

Aradhana Mallik 15th Jul, 2025

The final selection depends on your rank, not just the weightage. Cutoff ranks change every year based on N umber of seats, C ategory (General/SC/ST/OBC) and Total applicants and their scores. If your rank is within the cutoff for BBSR campus, then you’ll get a seat. So, wait for the rank list and counseling to know clearly.

Hlo sir i belonging to sc female I got 20733 rank in ap eapcet if it is possible to get a seat in ANGRAU guntur for agriculture

gopi 14th Jul, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

Hi! You are an SC female candidate with a rank of 20,733 in AP EAPCET, so you have a reasonable opportunity to secure a seat in B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture at ANGRAU, Guntur. You may be able to secure a seat, especially in the later rounds or against the special category seats. However, seating allotment is completely dependent on cut-off ranks, category reservation limits, and how many seats are available in a given year. Make sure to keep track of the official counselling time table, and attend as many rounds as possible to increase your seat acquisition.

Sir mere pas biology thi 12 m ab bsc agriculture kerna cheta hu

Rahul Mandal 14th Jul, 2025

Yes, you can do a BSc in agriculture if you had biology in your 12th. But there are still eligibility you need to meet

  1. Subject Required: You must have studied physics, chemistry, and biology in your 12th standard.
  2. Minimum Marks: If you say minimum, you need 50% or above in 12th boards, but some universities require 60%. If you are a reserved category student, it can be lower for you.
  3. Age Limit: Your age should be a minimum of 16-17 years; it also depends on universities or states.

If you meet this requirement, you can take some state-level entrance exams, or if you don't want to take them, you can get direct admission to some private institutes.

GOOD LUCK!!

i got 15629in bsc agree practical and 90106in theory and 84percentile in board if a chance can i get agriculture seat in Shimoga

Prachi Kumari 17th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Based on previous year cut-offs, getting a BSc Agriculture seat in Shimoga with 15629 in practical rank and 90106 in theory rank may be difficult. Usually, Shimoga seats close at much lower ranks, especially for General category. However, if you belong to a reserved category (like SC/ST/OBC), there might be a small chance in the second or third round.

Cut-offs can change every year, so it's good to keep checking counselling updates and try for other colleges too.

Hope it helps !
