Sharon Jose R B 24th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant! Lecturers in AIIMS Delhi are supposed to teach primarily In English but they do take classes in Hindi for better understanding. Some concepts are better understood when taught in a common language. But don't worry, if you don't know either of language, you can still ask for an explanation in the language you know among these two.

what are the cutoff for aiims delhi in neet 2020

Pranay Bundel 13th Oct, 2020

Dear candidate,

It is difficult to tell you about the cutoff exactly because it varies every year due to several reasons, but in case of AIIMS, unlike previous year, this time institute is filling their seats from NEET 2020 exam rather than taking their own entrance test and this will be a big game changer for those candidates who are willing to get admission in the institute, but according to my research on the internet, you can expect cutoff of AIIMS in 2020 for general category  will lie between 660-670, so there will be a neck to neck competition this year to get a seat in AIIMS.

hope this helps,

and all the best for your future.

i am a average student, can I crack aiims in first attempt without coaching like Aakash and Allen and will full dedication in self study or else I need to join coaching for getting a seat into aiims delhi??????

S. Saha Student Expert 10th Oct, 2020
It is not mandatory to join any coaching for Neet. If you are dedicated enough and if you have potential then you can surely fetch good marks. Being one of the toughest exams, one needs a lot of hard work and determination to get good score in Neet.
  • First you should go through the entire syllabus. Then make a proper a programmatic study schedule.
  • Instead of choosing a random topic from the syllabus, you must break your preparation into sections. Sub-topics from each section should be selected and then strategy on clearing concepts must be made.
  • Whenever any doubt pops up in your mind, try to solve it by then.
  • Don't think NCERT books are less. According to toppers and experts, NCERTs are the best book to start your preparation with.
  • Don't forget about negative marking. Answer if and only if you are sure about that.
  • Revision is a must thing. At least 10 days before the examination you must start your revision along with short notes.
  • Give mock tests once you are done with your syllabus. Solve previous years' exam papers available on Internet. Then analyse it. Find out your weak areas and work on them.
  • Read all the chapters, ignoring low weightage chapters and studying only most important chapters can cost a lot. So study from first to last. During last few days of examination, you can focus more on the chapters with high weightage.

Going by last few years' question analysis, we have the chapter wise weightage.

However, there are chances that Neet 2021 syllabus will be reduced as the academic year has been delayed and due to this pandemic all educational institutes are closed so it is difficult to complete the entire syllabus. To complement that, CBSE has reduced the syllabus 30%.
However, Careers360 has come up with Neet knock out package to help medical aspirants in their preparation. http://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/
