AIIMS Delhi
This is the first time that NEET is conducting its admissions through NEET score. We do have AIIMS Delhi's previous years cut offs. In 2018, 99.98 was AIIMS Delhi cut off for General Category. And in 2019, the highest NEET score was 701. Now AIIMS exam pattern and marking scheme are different from than that of NEET. While AIIMS MBBS was conducted for 200 marks and also included English and GK sections while NEET is conducted for 720 marks and only in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Now AIIMS releases its results in the form of percentiles while NEET releases its score in the form of marks. So going by this, you will need more than 650. Might be 675 will be a safe score given the fact that 99 .98 percentile is a higher cut off. This is an estimated cut off, And cut offs might change depending on various factors. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Dear Aspirant,
All India Institute of Medical Science is the top ranked institute in the National Institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF)’s Medical classification. Hence it automatically attracts top rankers into all their courses.
AIIMS has a total of around 1200 and 15 Lakh student wrote this exam, which boils down to below 1% eligibility, so ideally you have to achieve above 650 marks to stake a claim for a counseling session.
Good Luck
That is decent score and actually a very good score to be very honest. But anything cannot be said about this, because this is the first time that AIIMS, JIPMER are all merged into NEET entrance examination. So the exact cutoffs cannot be predicted. But hopefully this will be the decent score and will be able to give you a seat in AIIMS college.
Best wishes. Thankyou.
Sagar, Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Now for AIIMS, you will need more than 625, for MAMC you eill need atleast 500 and KGMU you will need more than 500. Now this is all based on 2109 data but if you are enquiring about 2021 data, we need to wait until NEET 2020 results are declared because we need to see the trend and cut offs. To help you with your NEET preparation, we have NEET Knockout packages that you can check at: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/. To help you during admission and counselling, we have https://dqxeclau.top/mbbs-companion.
371J is for Hyderabad-Karnataka border Candidates and this reservation is confined to State level. But admissions to AIIMS and JIPMER will be conducted at All India Level. So your Category that you belong to General/OBC/SC/ST only is considered and not HK Quota. So for a seat in AIIMS, you will need atleast 650. That might be the cut off. But again cut offs change every year.
