I scored 39/180 in AMRITA ENTRANCE EXAM 2021. Will I get CSE in any of the branches of AMRITA UNIVERSITY ?

ayanmukherjee045 21st Jul, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you have  got 39/180 in the amrita entrance exam 2021 and you are wanting to take up cse in the amrita University so let me tell you that it is not possible to predict as per your marks because it depends on certain factors like:-

1-Number of candidates appearing in the examination.

2-Number of vacant seats in college.

3-Previous years cut offs.

4-Difficulty level of the paper.

For more information you can check out the link given below regarding cut offs:+

which is best for chemical engineering sastra , amrita university , hits chennai ? honest opinion !!

Purbayan Chatterjee 29th Aug, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

While all the three Institutes mentioned (Sastra, Amrita and HITS) are good colleges for chemical engineering, if we consider several aspects like educational facilities, peer group, campus life and most importantly placements, I would suggest you join Sastra University.

Moreover, Sastra University is known for its research in chemical engineering and there are some of the core companies that comes for recruiting chemical engineering students with average salary of about 9LPA.

Hope this helps.

how much marks are required for getting slab 1 scholarship in AMRITA UNIVERSITY ?

Aditya 15th Jul, 2021

Hi aspirant,

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham reserves around 25 percent of the total seats in each course at every branch for the slab 1. The marks required for getting a slab 1 seat with scholarship for each of them will be different based upon the demand and popularity among candidates. For example the  marks required to get computer science and engineering at Coimbatore or Amritapuri campus will be way higher than getting Mechanical engineering at Amravati campus. You can get a better idea by comparing the cut off ranks required to get a desired seat and analysing what rank will be sufficient to make you part of that upper cream layer. You can get detailed cutoffs for Aeee at https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/aeee-cutoff/amp

Hope it helps!!

I got 2982 rank in aeee and Im very much interested in taking admission in Coimbatore campus in CSE OR ECE or CCE ONLY will i get it or not? or should i wait till last round?

Nitya 21st Aug, 2021
Hey
If we consider cutoff trends then you getting CSE with this rank is not possible in Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore. However you might get branches like:
  1. Mechanical Engineering
  2. Electronics & Communication Engineering
  3. Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
  4. Electrical & Electronics Engineering
You can check the trends on the link mentioned below.

You should wait till the last round as every year cutoff varies and these are just predictions based on previous year's cutoff.

Is State quota and Open quota still there in Amrita University?

Aditya 11th Jul, 2021

Hi aspirant,

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham still gives it's candidate an option to apply under State quota (if a local of that particular state) or in general quota. A portion of seats in the college is kept reserved for state quota and has its own advantages as these students are given more preference even if they score a compartively lower rank. You can get separate cutoffs for both of these at AEEE Cutoff 2021 (2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015) - Check Previous Year Cutoff (careers360.com)

Hope it helps!!

I got 2982 rank in aeee can I get cse or ece in amrita Coimbatore campus?., Im extremely keen to get admission in this campus. and tell me if i couldnt get Coimbatore is amritapuri campus is equivalent to Coimbatore one or not?

Aditya 18th Aug, 2021

Hi aspirant,

Congratulations on your phenomenal performance in AEEE 2021. See, it would not be possible to get CSE with the mentioned rank at Coimbatore campus under open quota as it most common choice of AEEE aspirants and has tough competition. As of ECE, the chances are slim as the previous closing ranks are close to 3000 but it is expected to shoot up considering the tough competition and tie ups in various ranks.

Your chances at Amritapuri campus are much better as there is comparatively less hustle. You will surely get a seat in  ECE or either of the different CSE programs. This campus is almost at par with the main campus for engineering due to excellent faculty members and highly active placement cells and chapters. It only fall backs in terms of area and infrastructure in comparison but you will get equal opportunities. You might not know in the nirf engineering rankings, it is the Amritapuri campus which has been mentioned although Coimbatore campus is the oldest campus.

Hope it helps!!

Hey! Out of 180 much should I get for securing Computer and Communication (CCE) branch in Amrita University in Coimbatore Campus?......BTW Ibelong in the state quota as I am from Tamilnadu.

Aditya 8th Jul, 2021

Hi aspirant,

It is great that you can avail the benifits under state quota as it would boost your chances to a far extent. It is though very difficult to predict the cutoff marks as Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham does not releases any details regarding the same. But analysing the p ast trends and reviews of appeared candidates, you should try to score atleast 120 marks so that your rank ranges between 2.5-3k  which should be sufficient to fetch you computer and communication engineering at Coimbatore campus.

You can check the past cutoff ranks at https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/aeee-cutoff/amp

Hope it helps!!
