Amrita University
Hi aspirant,
At first congratulations on your success in AEEE. You have obtained a very descent score but it may not be sufficient to fetch you a CSE seat at Coimbatore campus. With the mentioned score and analysing the previous trends for Rank vs marks, your rank could lie between 5-7k while the closing ranks for CSE in past years have been around 1-1.5k for open quota and 5k for state quota. Adding to it, definite rise in trends for Rank vs marks are expected this time owing to examination being held in four phases that too in online proctored mode.
Hope it helps!!

Dear Aspirant, 165/180 is really a good score in AEEE. There are high chances of getting CSE. Due varying competition and other factors the cutoff range range changes every year , but 160+ is really good. According to official website the ranks will be out on 23 July. Once the ranks are out you will get more clear idea. All the best!

Dear Aspirant,
According to me your rank with 71 marks out of 180 in AEEE would be between 15,001-18,500. With this rank if you have a state quota you may have a chance to get into this college with a decent branch, that too its a slim chance whereas if you belong to Open quota category then its highly difficult for you to get in. Students who get ranks under 10,000 have a better chance to get admission in this college. But don't loose hope, one college cannot make or break your future. Try some other colleges.

Hello,
As we all know that to get admissions in any colleges we have to first give a entrance exam and the score of it matters a lot, now talking about Amrita university it is a quite good university and provides a great education so to get in it you should always aim for a higher marks and also CSE branch is one of the most demanding field and everyone want’s to be in that particular field so you should definitely try to aim for more than 150 marks which will make your chance for the seat in CSE branch and also it will be considered as a great score.
Thank you..
Congratulations for your standout performance in AEEE. Analysing the previous data and your mentioned score you can expect a rank under 500 that should be sufficient for a CSE seat in either of the six campuses. The past year cutoffs for Cse in Coimbatore campus is around 2k and around 3.5k at Amritapuri campus. The final rank list would be prepared on basis of best of three scores in different phases of AEEE 2021 so you can notice slight variations on upper side. Dear student,
First you need to make sure that whether your home state is Tamil Nadu or not, because the chances of getting any seat in the Amrita is totally depends on that.
According to your score your rank should be around 3.5K and this is the very decent score anyone can achieve to get the seat in Amrita.
if you are from Tamil Nadu then definitely you will get CSE seat as the minimum marks required to get the CSE seat for home state student is 110 or the rank of 1200, as you are coming in this range then their is chance that either you will get CSE core or the CSE with specialization.
And if you are not from Tamil Nadu then there is very less chance that you will get CSE moreover you may get electrical and computer or CCE or ECE but not the CSE. For open state you marks should be 145+ to get the CSE seat in any campus of the Amrita.
Best of Luck!!!
Incase youre planning for Placements and securing a Job directly post BTech, I believe you should consider Amrita Coimbatore, considering the strong placements in Mechanical Engineering, even if it comes at a Higher Tuition Fee.
However, even if youre 5% inclined towards pursuing Masters/MBA/MTech/PhD after your BTech in some of the Higher Technical and Managerial Institutes of India, you may select Amritapuri Campus over Coimbatore as the Curriculum is same, and then it depends on your Dedication, secondly Amritapuri also has some scope of fair placements.
