btech biotechnology in srm university or bsc biotechnology in amrita university which is best

Afreen 19th May, 2021
Hey,
Both of these college are good , with almost same opportunity,
Both of courses are good withtheir purpose . It depends upon you that want you want , there are some difference between b.tech biotechnology and b.sc biotechnology .
B. TECH BIOTECHNOLOGY:-B.tech biotechnology is not only about biology, it includes chemistry, physics and other subject with more lab work as compare to b.sc in same.
B.SC BIOTECHNOLOGY :-It mostly about theory part than practical . B.sc is mostly focus on biology.

Only b.sc in biotechnology  will not enough so it better to go for b.tech biotechnology.

bsc biotechnology in amrita university btech biotechnology in srm university btech biotechnology in sathyabama university bsc+msc biotechnology in vit bsc biotechnology in manipal university arrange these in top order for bright future in research

Hi,

If you are considering research to be your path for life them you should opt for academic degree courses that is Bsc, msc and then further PhD in biotechnology rather than choosing btech which is more technical in nature and is a professional degree course. In terms of ranking or preference, all the listed colleges are more or less the same cause all of them are private ones with decent labs and faculty available.

I hope thai helps.

All the best.

Dear aspirant,

As per my views I would judge these colleges on the basis of few factors which includes placements, infrastructure, faculty.

So, I would suggest you do BTech from srm University as the placement scenario is better here with the faculty staff. The infrastructure is also very good. All facilities will be provided here. Same goes for bsc manipal.

if I do bsc from vit, manipal university, amrita university can i able to do ms from us, Canada? because bsc is a 3 year coarse so most of the us, Canada university accept 4 year ug degree what is solution?

Incase youre inclined more towards research and academia, less towards industry, I may suggest you to prefer first pursuing a M.Sc/MS from some of the Top Higher Technical Institutions in India like Top IITs, IISc Bangalore, CSIR, IISERs, etc and have a strong 2 year research experience and projects to yourself, after B.Sc. from VIT/Manipal.

After MS/MSc from these Top Indian Institutions, you may easily get into some of the QS Top 100 Universities abroad for PhD. Incase you prefer Research, R&D as well as Academia Roles abroad, in most of the Countries Doctorate is a must., and itll be definitely beneficial to you, as in Countries like US, you have a Fully Funded PhD Program for most of the Universities, with a Stipend, Health Insurance and Accomodation Costs taken care by the University.
