As the closing rank for amrita university  coimbatore in previous remain between 15k -20k. So for a seat in amrita university you needs a rank under 15k.

On the other hand if you want to go for core branches like computer science and information technology then you should have your rank 6k to confirm a seat for you there.

let me tell you amritha university doesnt takes you in through the marks it takes you in by the ranking you get through the amritha entrance exam where as the amritha is top university in india to get the addmission you need get the ranking below 15k for the mechanical in any of the campus
