No, Admissions in AMU are not based on your 10+2 level scores. The Candidates have to appear for the admission or department test for AMU admissions as applicable. The Committee sets up the final admission list and the applicants must pay the fees and verify the document records. Aligarh Muslim University will start the AMU 2022 admission process from the month of March. The candidates can fill the AMU admission form 2022 for UG and PG programmes till April at amu.ac.in. The subjects from which the examination paper will be designed:
The examination is based on MCQs with 120 questions each of 1 mark. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer so better to nark correct options with sincereity and focus.
You can simply prepare from the textbooks or from previous years papers. Conceptum and several other books are also there from which you can practise.
The admisisons for external students might be difficult becausethere are various reservations are there in AMU through which the cutoff for external student increases. But donot worry, prepare well.

The candidate shall apply for admission to the Ph. D. Programme on a prescribed form (Annexure - I), which may be downloaded from the University's website, http://jmi.ac.in. The application for admission shall be submitted to the Centre concerned along with a Demand Draft. The Entrance Test will be for screening the applicants in order to determine their suitability for admission to Ph. D. Programme of the concerned Department/ Faculty/ Centre. Qualifying the Entrance Test will in no way entitle the candidate to any right to admission in the Ph. D. Programme. The medium of Entrance Test shall be English, except in the language departments, which may set the question paper in the language concerned. The Entrance Test shall be based on a single question paper comprising of Part ‘A’ and ‘B’, which shall of three hours duration. The Part ‘A’ of the question paper shall include 50 multiple choice (objective type) questions of one mark each on teaching and research aptitude, reasoning, comprehension, language, writing and analytical skills, and contemporary issues relevant to research and higher education The part-A of the question paper shall be of ONE hour duration The Part ‘B’ of the Question Paper shall be devoted to the advanced knowledge of subject concerned and that of the specialization, if any. It shall have a weight age of 100 marks out of which 50 marks will be assigned to 50 multiple choice (objective type) questions of one mark each and a set of subjective types of questions having a weight age of another 50 marks. The Part B of the question paper shall be of TWO hours duration.
For JNU :- Selection of the candidates for the Ph. D. will be done on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination and viva-voice, both conducted by the university . The candidates are invited for CBT examination and candidates qualifying in the CBT examination shall be called for viva voce Examination. A PhD aspirant must hold a Master's degree/ MPhil course work with at least 55 per cent aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) PG holders of AYUSH related subjects are also eligible to apply.

The National Testing Agency will release the CUCET 2022 eligibility criteria along with the official brochure in the month of August. Before candidates sit down to fill the application form, they are advised to check the CUCET eligibility 2022 laid down by the university.
The common eligibility criteria is such that the candidates must have cleared Class 10+2 or equivalent or 10+3 diploma approved by the State Board of Technical Education with a minimum of 50% marks, as per the CUCET UG eligibility criteria 2022. The students belonging to the SC and ST categories must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12 exam. So yes the specific criteria is available in their official website, and yes PCB candidates are also eligible for the course.

AMU MBA entrance exam 2022 will be conducted by the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). This exam is a University level test, which is held to offer admission into MBA/ MBA (IB)/ MBA (Islamic Banking and Finance), MBA (Fin. Management)/ M.T.T.M, MBA (Hospital Administration), and MBA (Agribusiness). The application form for admission in MBA in AMU will be available from June, 2022 on the official website.
