Children of Armed Personnel (CAP)

According to G.O.Ms No 192, Higher Education (EC-32) Department, dated 26.08.1993, the following are the priorities to be followed for admission under the CAP quota:

Priority 1: Children of combat-dead personnel of the armed forces, border security forces, and central reserve police forces.

Priority 2: Children of members of the armed forces, BSF personnel, and CRPF personnel who have been hurt while doing their duties and are now medically unable to serve.

Priority 3: Children of members of the armed forces, members of the BSF, and members of the CRPF who have received gallantry awards, in the following order of merit:

• Armed Forces Personnel
• a. Param Veer Chakra, b. Ashok Chakra, c. Sarvotham Yudha Seva Medal, d. Mahavir Chakra, e. Kirti Chakra, f. Utham Seva Medal, g. Vir Chakra, h. Shourya Chakra, i. Yudha Seva Medal, k. Mention in dispatches
• BSF Personnel, and CRPF Personnel
• President's Police and Fire Services Medal for Gallantry
• President's Police Medal for Gallantry
• Police Medal for Gallantry

Priority 4 : Ex-children, Servicemen's BSF personnel, and CRPF personnel.

Regarding the category B counselling, you can use it on the basis of priority that has been given to the certificate you hold.

Additionally, the decision will be determined based on the EAMCET rank if there are multiple candidates in a specific group in the previously indicated order of priority. Only those who have lived in Andhra Pradesh for at least five years and who are covered by G.O.Ms No. 370, dated October 18, 1999, and G.O.P. No. 646, issued July 10, 1979 (Six Point Formula), will be eligible for this reservation.

Children of servicemen and ex-servicemen living in the state of Andhra Pradesh must have a residence certificate issued by the Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO) from the Mandal where the candidate claims his dad resides in order to be accepted for admission.
