my name is pragna.i am from andhra pradesh. and i got 464 marks. i an bcb category . my air is 1,18,000. my percentile is 92.28 . can i get a free seat in medical colleges. either govt or a category private??
Hello,
If we go by last year cut-offs under 85% state quota then with AIR 1,18,000 and 464 marks with SC Category, chances for GMCs is quite tough, however there are possibilities for management quota in the private medical colleges-
- Alluri Sitaramaraju Academy of Medical Sciences, Eluru
- Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Chittoor
- Dr Pinnamaneni Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences, Chinoutpalli
- GSL Medical College and General Hospital, Rajahmundry
- Katuri Medical College and Hospital, Guntur
- Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Foundation, Amalapuram
- PES Institute of Medical Science and Research, Kuppam
- Santhiram Medical College and General Hospital, Nandyal
however, this is completely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjected to alter every year based on various factors such as
- total number of candidates appearing for the exam
- difficulty level of the paper
- top NEET scores
- reservation
- seat matrix, etc..

hlo mam, iam from andhra pradesh, and i wanted to participate in telangana state counseling 85% quota....am i eligible for it
Hi aspirant,
There are some eligibility criteria defined by the authorities for candidates to be eligible for 85 percent reservation which includes:

A candidate who is not regarded as a local candidate under the above criteria, and has studied in educational institutions in the State for a minimum period 7 consecutive academic years, ending with the year they apply for NEET, may be considered local in relation to:
-
The local area where they have studied for the maximum no. of years out of the said 7 years
-
Their period of study in two local areas is equal
-
They have not studied in any Educational Institutions in the state, but have resided in any local area/ or two local areas (for equal time) for a minimum period of 7 consecutive years.
The following categories can apply for the 15% unreserved seats:
-

If you fulfill any of these then you can take part in the same.
Hope it helps!!
I got 522 in neet 2021, can I get A category private college , I belong to open category, Andhra Pradesh
Hello aspirant,
According to previous year cutoffs trend at your score you have almost nil chances of getting admission in government medical colleges in your state under general category. Also there are very low chances for you to get admission in private medical colleges under government quota. But you can surely get admission through management quota.
However you can get admission in private dental colleges under state quota and also in some government dental colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Some private dental colleges for your consideration are as follows:
- Government Dental College, Kadapa
- G Pulla Reddy Dental College, Kurnool
- Sibbar Institute of Dental Science, Guntur
- Anil Neerukonda Institute of Dental Science, Vishakapatnam
But remember that cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted exam and number of students participated in counselling, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more. So nothing can be predicted with certainty until the official announcement of cutoff. For more college options at your score you can use our NEET UG college predictor tool too which provides you elaborate information regarding suitable colleges:

i got 473 marks in neet 2021.can i get seat in mbbs A-category in andhra pradesh , Gen OC-Ews femalea
Dear aspirant,
As per the marks obtained in neet 2021 so let me tell you that even if I consider your ews category still it's difficult to predict the exact situation because the dynamics gets changed every year.
If you planning to go through all india quota then it's not fruitful kindly go with home state maybe you can get through it. Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
