The difference between the autonomous and affiliated colleges is that in autonomous college they can set their own syllabus and correction will be done in college itself  But question paper will be prepared by Anna University.

The certificate you will recieve at the end will be of  Anna University in both the cases. Many people feel affiliated colleges are the good option to opt for but you can experience more new things in autonomous college.

per university, 8 seats are reserved for candidates who belong to ex-serviceman reservation category.  this increases the competition. it will depend on your TNEA score and 12th score.

it is unpredictable to say the cutoff for present year due to many change in whole process of exam. it may not follow previous year trend. if you will secure 80% of total score in entrance exam then there is high chance to get admission. it might be difficult for CSE as it is a demanded branch. go for non-technical branch or core branch.
