Can education and anthropology calculated in best of four marks in Delhi University?

Aryaman Tewari 29th May, 2019
No, according to last year, both of these courses cannot be used in the calculation for your best of 4 score.

But are you referring to 'Physical Education' when you write 'education' ? If yes, then PE can be included as it is a part of the List A issued by DU, which contains the subjects that can be included in your best of 4 score.

However, DU is yet to release it's list-A. The answer I wrote is based on last year's list A.

Do check out the link below for more.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/university.careers360.com/articles/delhi-university-admissions-how-calculate-best-of-four-marks/amp

It also contains the List A, along with the procedure of calculation.

a degree in zoology (UG) and anthropology (PG) can fetch a job?

Shagufa Zareen Student Expert 5th Apr, 2019

Dear Shalvi,
You can join both the govt and the private sector. The list of both of them are:
Govt:
1. You can get any state psc jobs like BDO, SDO, clerk, and CTO but you have to prepare for it but it just needed graduation and you will be a graduate after MSC.
2. You can get any railway job where they need the only graduation as a minimum educational qualification.
3. You can get any central govt jobs and by applying for SSC CHSL, CGL and after clearing them you can be a central govt employee.
4. You can also go for the other govt jobs too because more or less every job has the eligibility criteria of graduation only.
Private:
1. You can start your career as a teacher by applying to any private school and also as a home tutor.
2. You can get a back office job in some office if you have knowledge of computer.
3. You can apply for the ground staff jobs in airports.
4. You can apply for the back office jobs at the bank too if you have their eligibility criteria.
But if you want to work in the core area of your education background I must suggest you these:

You can join any institution and do your research and also start teaching anthropology. Also, Anthropological survey of India recruits anthropologist both for the central and state level. You can also start research in any government institute which employs anthropologist.

Many big organization such as UNESCO, UNICEF, WHO recruit anthropologists too.

You can have jobs in the art gallery, museum, library, curators, and publishing house as well.
I hope this will solve your query.
Good luck.
