Candidates those wish to take admission need to fulfill IISER 2020 eligibility criteria. IISER exam is conducted for admission to BS-MS degree program at one of the seven IISERs. Candidates can get admission in IISER through JEE Main, KVPY and SCB channel. Candidates can apply for admission through any of the three options, but they need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for each channel individually.

KVPY Channel

The candidates those having a valid KVPY fellowship score card commencing from 2020-20 academic session are eligible to apply for admission. The additional cut-off criteria may also be applicable.

JEE Channel

Candidates those belong to general category will have to secure a rank within 10000 in the Common Rank List (CRL) of JEE Advanced 2020. The candidates those belong to reserved category (OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PWD) their category rank should be within 10000 to be eligible for the IISER admission.

SCB Channel

Candidates are eligible those have passed 10+2 with science stream in 2019 or 2020 with marks equal or above the cut off percentage in their respective boards. Candidates those wish to apply through SCB channel have to appear for IISER Aptitude Test which will be conducted at various centers across the country.

Yes the IISER aptitude test 2020 merit list has been declared .candidates are allotted seats on the basis of that.  It is prepared on the on the basis of of the total number of seats available through SCB , KVPY  and JEE.

• Once th results release, the direct link to access the result will be available on the above article link.
• Click on that link, a new page will open.
• IISER Aptitude Test result will have the roll numbers of candidates who have qualified the exam.
• Check your roll whether it is in the list.
• If your roll number exists in the list, then you have qualified the test.
• Download and save it. Take printout of the page for future references.

You get to know you are selected or not directly  since there is a change in every year's cutoff.In year 2019,People scoring 96 were alloted seat in first round,marks of 86-88 were alotted in second round and 83-85 in 3rd round.So as you can see  you have less chances in getting admission in ISER since your marks is very low than the average cutoff every year.

Hello there, Joint Action Committee , IISER Thiruvananthapuram will release the merit list and cutoff of IISER 2020 on its official website. The authorities will release separate IISER merit list and cutoff for applying through different channels of admission. To be eligible for IISER 2020 through SCB channel you must have passed 10+2 with Science Stream in 2019 or 2020 and must score the minimum cut off marks specified. Yes, there are fairly good chances of you get selected in some lower preference IISERs like IISER Tirupati, Tirvanthampuram. It also depends on this year cutoff that you might be offered Bhopal or Mohali but this is little bit difficult due to general category but still hopes doesn't end here. Let's wait and watch for first 1-2 rounds then itself the image will be clear.
