Hi,
B.Arch is better than the Diploma because it is a five year full time degree course. After completing diploma you will probably get job of a draftsmen in any architectural firm but after B. Arch you get the post of a junior architect and are also favourable for promotions with time and experience. So as you see you have better career opportunities. Also, for pursuing masters an undergraduate degree is a must. And most importantly, for practising as an Architect in India, you need a licence from the Council of Architecture which is possible only if you pursue B. Arch from a COA recognized college.
Of-course, B.Arch is better. It’s a degree after all. Diploma comes with lower pay, lesser opportunities, lesser knowledge. One can’t really compare a diploma with a degree.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.

Hey aspirant,
Architecture courses in India can be expensive or budget friendly and it completely depends on which college you choose. There are colleges in India which charge approximately five lakhs for one year and Dara some colleges on the other hand would charge around 30 or 40,000 per year for the same course. The fees for the courses totally depend on which college you get into and the eligibility for the same H depends on whether you choose to give Nata or JEE and how are you score in them. Hope this helps all the Best!
B.Architecture is a five year Under Graduate course. It is the study of building and its form. Candidates who completes the course will be awarded Bachelors Degree in Architecture.
If you discontinue the course you will not be awarded Diploma because the duration of the course is five years and it is an Under Graduate course whereas Diploma in general is three year course (four year in some cases). If you discontinue the course in the middle you will not obtain the degree certificate.
I hope you are doing well.

Hi there,
Architecture is a very vast field requires precision because their work is focused on building a outline for any project.
This work requires utmost patience and precision because if one mistake happens then the project will be failed.
See, as per you query, the salary for freshers depends upon the industry they will getting into because their is no such fixed salary for a particular course in India.
If you are going through some good companies the surely the starting package is good. It is around 7 lakhs per year otherwise architecture salary is very low in India .
I hope this helps you.
Thank You and all the very best!!
