All the best.
Hi Gaurav,
Priyadarshini institute of architecture (Nagpur) is a private college that is ranked 37 in the Architectural sector by India Today in 2021. It is ranked 4th amongst colleges in Maharashtra. This is the apparently the only college in India with an International collaboration with UNSW Sydney. The average salary offered during placements is 4-5 LPA & the highest salary is around 9LPA. Most architectural students start their own firms & do not look for regular jobs as per sources. Whether the college provides any internship or not isn't known.
Pillai college of architecture (Nagpur) is also a private college that offers B.arch degree but the ranking is unknown. The faculty is apparently very qualified & knowledgeable & the infrastructure is decent. Apparently the college does not provide any on-campus placement opportunities or internships. One ahs to tread his/her own way into the growing market.
Ganga institute of architecture and town planning (Haryana) is recognised by the Government of Delhi so apparently the degree obtained from here is more valuable than any other private colleges. The college has a separate training & placement cell which concentrates more on training students for getting a job off-campus as well. It does not offer too many on-campus recruiters. The faculty is qualified, helpful & friendly. The infrastructure is average with regular canteens, auditoriums, etc.
These are the few points you should consider before choosing a college so go through the answer & decide what's best for you & for any further queries please free to ask.
Hope this helps.

Yes, its a Good Place for Architecture, with one of the Oldest Architecture Departments in India. Apart from strong faculty, studios and infrastructure, you even have some scope for Placements in Non Core Sector Firms, along with Engineering Undergraduates, though low chances. Incase, youre determined to move abroad for a Masters in Agriculture or maybe MBA after B.Arch hence Preparation, IIEST is the Perfect Place to be. Incase youre unable to secure a Place in some of he Good SPA's, NITs for Architecture, IIEST must be preferred.

Eligibility Criteria for B.arch is -
Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Biology or Computer Science or IT or Business Study or Engineering Graphics or Informatics Practice or Technical Vocational Subject subject to qualifying NATA 2024 Or Pass with 50% in Diploma (any stream) (3 years) (with Mathematics ) or equivalent, subject to qualifying NATA 2024. IF you want to take admission in architecture then NATA is mandatory.
As you have already mentioned that you have failed in your NATA exam and also you percentile which you have mentioned is decent score but comparing to cutoffs of colleges for B. Architecture program in Hyderabad your chances are very less of securing admission, but definitely if you have only one target of Architecture than you can try once again for the same exam and due the complete studies for the exam with some proper guidance and that’s all you will be having a really great marks or rank for applying in the different colleges and surely you will get admission as well.
Thank you..
Hello Neha,
First of all, you need to choose an optional subject out of the list of subjects like History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, General Science, Sociology, etcetera as per your interest. Since you want a subject related to Architechture, you can choose accordingly.
Coming to category, I think you are talking about post and designation of an IAS Officer. It is decided on the basis of merit in the UPSC examination.
Hope this helps
