The Army Institute of Law (AIL) was established in 1999. It is a private unaided institute which was established by the Indian Army under the aegis of the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) at Patiala. The college offers a five year BA.LLB and one-year LL.M course.
The admission process of Army Institute of Law (AIL) for B.A LLB and LLM:
The aspirants are required to apply online at the official website of AIL.
Candidates who get the valid score in the entrance, have to appear for the counselling at AIL.
Admission to 60 seats for wards of army personnel will be done through entrance test(Online LET) conducted by AIL under the aegis of AWES
Admission to 4 seats in the All India Category will also through the same entrance test.

Only female candidates who want to get admission in the nursing colleges of Armed Forces Medical services can register and must fill the application form and submit in time. Only the ones who have register will be issued the Indian Army B.SC Nursing 2021 admit card.

OTA stands for Officers Training Academy. OTA is where ladies and gentlemen both are trained into officers but in IMA only gentlemen can be inducted for permanent commission. After the completion of your Training in OTA you will be inducted into the armed forces as a lieutenant for maximum 15 yrs of service as Short service commission (SSC). Job nature is same for both the officer permanent commission or SSC. yes the officer from OTA also posted in the front area or battle field.

In order to join the national military or the Army of any country, you need to have good physical fitness as well as a good height and weight ratio.
Talking about the height eligibility, the male Candidate should be above 152 cms at least for joining the military, whereas for a female candidate the height eligibility criteria is 150 centimetres.

To be eligible for NDA a candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board. To be eligible for Air force academy and Indian Naval Academy a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics from a recognised board and for Indian Military Academy a candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognised board. There is no minimum percentage requirement.
You are eligible to apply for IMA if you pass in all subjects in the qualifying exam. You are not eligible if you haven't passed in Mathematics.
