I am army ward and getting 313 marks in neet 2020. I am UR and democile of Uttrakhand. Is there army quata in Uttrakhand government medical college

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 23rd Oct, 2020

Anshika, Uttarakhand has approximately 1% reservation for Children of Army personnel. And you haven't mentioned your Category because your Category matters too. Nevertheless, if you belong to Reserved Categories, then may be a score of 313 might get you a Government Quota seat in a Private Medical College. Or else with a score of 313, it is difficult for a seat in a GMC. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. hi sir , my ap eamcet rank is 14000 approximately, and gender female, i have army quota , can i get veterinary seat in government college.

theeanonymous 20th Oct, 2020

Hello Ashok,

The cutoffs vary with factors like number of seats, number of applicants, highest secured marks etc. This year there seems to be an increase in the cutoffs. According to previous year trend, the rank range for government veterinary college was 5579 to 10841 . Hence , chances seem low if you are a general category candidate. If you belong to any reservation category you may have  chance . You also seem to be having the advantage of ex-servicemen quota , hence attend the counselling and see. But also be prepared for private institutions , since we can't predict for sure.
