Khushi Goyal 10th Aug, 2021

Dear Student,

If you are giving exam in 2022, the best book recommended for :-

Polity : Indian Polity - For Civil Services and Other State Examinations by M. Laxmikanth  - 6th Edition

Indian Art and Culture : Indian Art and Culture for Civil Services and other Competitive Examinations by Nitin Singhania - 3rd Edition

These books are best recommended for Indian Polity and Indian art and culture, also their NCERTs of 11th and 12th Humanities are very helpful and informative.

Does it possible to enroll in BCA program with 46% in 12th stream art (no mathematics) ? please suggest some colleges in kolkata region with fee structure!

Subhrajit Mukherjee 30th Jun, 2021

See mathematics is not a problem for BCA. But in general for the BCA course we need at least 50% marks in 10+2. Now as you have >50% marks then you will not be eligible for the BCA. You will be eligible for the course if you are from SC/ST i.e., Reserved category as 5% relaxation is provided to the group.

what was the purpose of dramatic art in the ancient period as discussed by bharat muni in his Natyasastra?

Aditi More 27th Jun, 2021

Hey,

The Nayashastra primarily aims at giving the necessary directions to actors so as to enable them creditably to acquit themselves in acting out their parts; and to the dramatists to enable them to write flawless dramas.

Natyashastra is the earliest literature on music and drama – written somewhere around 500 BC by Bharata Muni. Comprising 6000 couplets in Sanskrit and spread over thirty-six chapters, Natyashastra’s focus was on dance and drama, with music as an aid. The title is a combination of two Sanskrit words – Natya and Shastra. Natya refers to technique of dance and drama, and shastra refers to science. It is the magnum opus that describes – relation between director and audience, structuring a play, acting techniques, costumes and make-up, music and musical instruments to be used, the dimensions of the stage and its decorations with lighting, and size of the hall and seating of audience. Directors and producers of plays mention that its relevance is high even in this date and age

Neha Kumari 25th Jun, 2021

Dear candidate

CBSE has changed its rule for repition of class 12th once candidates have passed allready. But if they want they can apply for improvement papers. As per your case  you have passed 12th years ago.You can check the criteria for "improvement papers" whether you are eligible or not . And if unfortunately you are not eligible, have no choice rather than being satisfied with your previous/present marks.
