This criteria will remain enforced till 2023. As far as NET is concerned, if you have a PhD degree from Top 500 Universities then you would be exempted from NET criteria. Without NET also, you can apply for the post of assistant professor if you are having a PhD degree from Top 500 Universities.

8. The Vice chancellors would be paid at the pace of INR 2.10 lacs though the Special Allowance will be energizing to INR 5000 every month.
