Yes, there are Career Fairs at most of the Top Australian Universities like UNSW, University of Sydney, University of Melbourne and Auckland University. The Career Fairs are at par with the Placement Seasons we have in India, and include both International and Australian Applicants.
However, there is no guarantee of a Job, and you may have to find a Job on your own from Job Listings and Websites. Indians and Chinese students consist nearly 30-40% of Any Masters batch at Australian Universities, and they are considered highly employable by Australian and Multinational Companies.

Hello student
You are willing to study BTech in software technology in Australia University. The student who have secured 65% marks in 12th standard examination will be eligible for appearing that admission test of that respective University. The IELTS international English language test system, TOEFL test of English as a foreign language, PTE Pearson test of English, should be taken before admission in Australian University.
If a student it does not secure or less than 65% marks in 12th standard they have to do a foundation course in Australia before admission.
If student can do job and continue to study then there is scope for student also.
Hope this helps.
Both are fine choices for MS degree and both have their own advantages and disadvantages so you need to decided based on what suits you after doing a thorough research on the student experiences. But since you have asked , US is a very good and popularly opted destination for MS due to flexible classes(part-time/full time),high quality training and exposure, effective education system and more. After finishing your course , even for job opportunities it is an ideal choice. A lot of top ranking universities are there in US.An American education is highly-regarded by employers around the world Some of them are: Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge Stanford University, Stanford University of California, Berkeley Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta California Institute of Technology, Pasadena University of Illinois, Urbana, Champaign
Carnegie Mellon University Similarly Australia is also another popular choice for higher studies due to its World-class reputation (There are eight Australian universities among the world’s top 150), god climate, quality of life, unique research opportunities, work while you study scheme, diversity etc. Some top level univerisities in Australia for MS are:
University of Melbourne
University of Sydney
Australian National University
University of Queensland
Monash University and many more. One advantage in Australia is that , after studying if you manage to get a permenant residency there, you will have full right to live there and work, even if you lose your job you will not be asked to leave . Whereas in US However, in the US most of the jobs are based on H1B visa which is granted by an organization’s consent so if you lose the job, you may have to leave the country or keep looking for other company to provide you the H1B visa which is a very tough situation. Therefore , you should choose based on the university . Go to that country where you get admission in one of its A-list insitution. Moreover, MS has got a lot of scope ,so basically as far as you are a good student and you have a wonderful faculty , the country will not matter, you will sure end up successful. Make the ultimate decision based on what you think or prefer.
