MTech Automotive electronics vs control and automation which is better in placement in VIT Vellore?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 5th Jul, 2020
Hello,

For M.tech automotive engineering, the placement is average. You must be aware that ARAI manages the placement as the course is in collaboration with ARAI,Pune. If you have good academics overall then you can get placed.

On the other hand in if you do M.tech in control and automation then the average package ranges around 6 LPA while companies like  Seimens, Schneider, Danfoss etc offer placement.
So, in conclusion both are the courses are good but its advisable to go with control and automation.

I hope this helps.

MBBS , engineering like robotics and automation which is best?

Pritam Singh 11th May, 2020

Hey there

You should not compare MBBS and engineering as both are different things. You should choose a course which you have interest in. If you have creative mind and interest in maths and want to work with machines then go for engineering and if you have interest in biology and want to work on medicine, etc then definitely go for MBBS. You can prepare for various competitive exams on our platform

I would like to study robotics and automation engineering....How can i get into a clg without entrance exam?...can i?

Hrisheekesh Singh 10th May, 2020

Hi Abhinaya,

The robotics and automation engineering course is available in very few colleges or universities. Even very few IIT's and NIT's offer this course, the chances to get a seat without entrance exam on merit basis or with management quota is very less. As you have not mentioned college name, I will not be able to specify that you can get admission there without entrance exam or not.

Refer here for list of college offering this course - https://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-automation-and-robotics-colleges-in-india

Feel free to ask doubts in the Comment Section.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!

Is robotics and automation engineering a good course?does it has a good scope?

harsh Student Expert 9th May, 2020

Hello dear

Yes definitely the scope of automization and robotics is very good in future. Every one wants that the production and efficiency will increase in their organization and we are lacking behind in automization and other things as compared to well developed countries like Japan  Korea  us etc.

They are using a high profile technology , robots ,automatically control devices in their factories , production plants, and other various organization.

The industry 4.0 in exploring in India but at a very slow speed and it will pace up in coming years and you will have a ample of opportunity in this field. Drone delivery , automatic doors, CNC machines, RFID technology, robots in factory for various work and other fields are waiting . You can introduce automization and robotics in every field and organization .So it will be a good opportunity for you if you are anthusiastic to know about this and have an interest in it.

Good luck
