Look every prescribe college has its own placements and records have to choose according to you by visiting at the college, talk to faculties so that you can choose the best according to you. 

Mention your category as well. As per the previous years cut offs you are eligible for the admissions in mechanical engineering and automation. Rest wait for the official cut off release as it may go high or it may come down and then accordingly go for the admissions.

Robotic engineering has good future in foreign like   Japan , Singapore .but in India you know very well ,future is not so bright in comparison other countries.it will take time in India .

Brother I'm too having same doubt. I am so worried about it. Can we are eligible for PSU's like ongc, iocl, etc.?
