Which course to choose , either automobile engineering or mechanical engineering? Im interested in automobile field but everyone is saying that mechanical engineering is also based on it. So which has better scope and is based on automobile field?

Abhishek Roy 10th Jan, 2021

In 12th, or perhaps before engineering you cannot really tell of your interest in any subject. According to what I understand you must be having an inclination and likeability towards Automobiles. Situation may be completely different once you are in Institute and you may have certain other research interests. Hence, I would suggest you to pursue Mechanical Engineering, as it is a much broader field of Engineering with India's never finishing demand for Mechanical Engineers. This branch also has very good career scope and prospects in almost all sectors be it Industrial, Aerospace, Materials, Power or Technology and Automation, in both public and private enterprises.

In India itself, most of the PSUs, whether belonging to the Metal Industry like SAIL, NMDC, RINL, MOIL, BEML or Infrastructural Development and Energy/ Oil and Gas industry like NTPC, ONGC, IOCL, BPCL, HPCL as well as Public Research Organizations like DRDO, ISRO, BARC definitely have vacancies for Mechanical Engineers round the year through GATE and other respective entrance examinations.

In an automobile, if the vehicle makes a left turn, the gyroscopic torque

Shubham Dhane 30th Nov, 2020

Hello,

The gyroscopic couple will act over the vehicle outwards i.e. in the anticlockwise direction when seen from the front of the vehicle. The tendency of this couple is to overturn the vehicle in outward direction. Gyroscopic effect is ability of the rotating body to maintain a steady direction of its axis of rotation. The gyroscopes are rotating with respect to the axis of symmetry at high speed.

automobile vs mechanical engineering ? which is best ?

chinchujoseph1993 14th Dec, 2020

Hello,

Automobile engineering is a sub branch of Mechanical engineering. Mechanical engineering deals with the mechanics of physics and science to analyze, manufacture and design mechanical systems. Whereas Automotive Engineering specifically deals with the construction and design of automobiles.

According to my opinion, I would say that Mechanical engineering would be a better and more safer option since a fresher from mechanical engineering will have more options than a fresher from Automobile engineering. This is because Mechanical Engineering is an open field where you can get jobs in a number of sectors whereas Automobile Engineering narrows down the opportunities limiting job opportunities to that sector only.

But if you want to make a career as an Automotive Engineer then you should do your UG in Automobile engineering that too from a good University/College to get the best offers.

So the choice is truly yours.

Good Luck in making the correct choice for you.

automobile engine ki kitni fees hai

Harsh Chandravanshi 29th Oct, 2020

Hi Aspirant!

As this fess factor depends on the college we can not generalise the fees of Automobile Engineering. As different college have low and high class facilities and provide different advanced thing. It also depends on which course you are going to pursue.

Hence if we consider UG which is large time span course it's minimum fees for private college is 57k and 6k for government college while maximum fees would be around 18 lakh for private and 10lakh for government.

I hope it helps.

Why most people are taking cs only in any college that they getDoes other branch doesnt have scope like mech, automobile?

ojaswiyolo Student Expert 27th Oct, 2020

Hello

All the branches in engineering have scope if you do them well. Streams like CSE, IT and ECE are preferred because it is highly in demand in these fays in the industries because of which most recruitments are done from these branches, specially the mass recruitment. However, in no way it means that tehse astreams are superior Every stream of Engineering will get you a decent job if you manage to get good scores and gain extra knowledge and credits from outsidesources, that is if you broader your horizons, from MOOC courses etc.

At the end of the day it is all about the efforts you put in.

hello I have not written eamcet or jee and I have got ups marks 555 can I get admission in vnr in b catergory for automobile please say please

mansiprofessional234 Student Expert 19th Oct, 2020
Your question is a bit unclear that I can assume that you are asking about the admissions in VNR college of Tamilnadu and as far as admissions in VNR college are concerned you can only get admission on the basis of EAMCET Exam for UG courses and since you have not given theEAM  CET exam there are no chance you can get a seat on the basis of UPSEE marks . You can either  try to get admission in this college next year on the basis of EAMCET score or you can get admission in any other college on the basis of your UPSEE rank . To predict the best possibilities open for you , you can use UPSEE college predictor tool:
