Coaching is good or bad ??? because my senior talk about this instution has been poor coaching

Tanu Shri 13th Aug, 2022

It all depends. Coaching can help to ease things out. Coaching can be a significant aspect during preparation of any competitive exams but is not necessary to clear the examination. To have a guidance is always good, thus coaching is always helpful, it helps to understand the syllabus in a more profound way, it prepares you for actual competition, often coaching institutes offers test series which again is very helpful. Coaching can also make you study in an organized way. It also helps you understand what's important and what's not and all the tips and tricks. Can help you clear your doubts also. Nowadays you can opt for online classes as well.

But it's not like that you can't crack any exam without coaching. Of course you can. Be very well versed with the syllabus and be dedicated towards your prepration. Again practice as much as you can.

Coaching will only be helpful if you do self study.

Choice is yours.

is getting 125th rank in maths in pucet ug 2022 is a bad one or if good one then can we further apply for BSc hons in maths?????

Jyoti Eyasmin 13th Aug, 2022

Dear Student,

In the PUCET exam, the percentile score is more important than the rank score, which used to be the case. Regardless of your score, you must now achieve at least a 95+ percentile to receive a bSc honours in math.

Following is the preparation of the pucet(ug) merit list-

25% of +2 plus 75% of the PUT markings.

So, if you scored about 250 on the PUCET and received a grade of at least 90% on your +2, you will undoubtedly get admitted to the main campus. You might be wondering why I said that such high marks were required for admittance. This is due to the fact that there are only 40 places available in each stream on the main campus, and 3000 students qualified for the examination.

If you don’t secure a seat then you can definitely apply next time with more preparation. As you already gave the exam once you’ll know your weak and strong section, prepare accordingly.

Hope this helps, thank you.

I want to crack neet ug... but my family circumstances doesnt allow me to take drop (already taken 1st drop), this year I did really bad in NEET... How to prepare for NEET 2023 with BSc Agriculture? How to manage my schedule ? pls help

DishaDoshi 3rd Aug, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Salute to your Never give up attitude.

To crack neet while taking admission, here's a strategy which will help you.

1. Identify and write down your mistakes in first two attempts of Neet and stick it in place where you can see it daily.

2. Analyse the topic which you are weak at. Subdivide them comparatively weak, weaker, weakest. Start studying weakest topic first.

3. For physics, write down all formula in one book and revise it daily.

4. For chemistry, start preparing with inorganic then oraganic and lastly physical. Make self-notes as much as possible.

5. For biology prepare it using NCERT only. Try to read between lines. Observe diagrams carefully and if possible try drawing them.

6.Solve mcq daily. Before 4 months of exams, solve last 30 year previous question paper. This will create your hold on subject.

7. For solving mcq daily, prepare books like Errorless or any book which covers question of State Cet, aiims, jipmer and are available topic/chapterewise.

8. As you will be also doing bsc agri along with your Neet prep. Don't take to much stress. Make timetable such that you can devote 4- 6 hrs to Neet prep daily . Prepare your strategy in such a way that you can at least pass 1st year exam of bsc agri as a backup plan.

9. There are many 1st yr student who had faced same condition like you but are now in Aiims.

Remember : You don't have to do different things, you just have to do things differently.

All the best
