Hi,
Yes a person with BCA or MCA can apply for bank clerk job. For bank clerk or PO any person with any degree can apply. Though for that you have to take up banking exams like IBPS which is a common entrance exam to get into banks either for clerk or PO. To clear that you can go to coaching centres and take up coaching or prepare at your own convinence phase. But a person with any degree can take up banking exams.

Dear Christy, the eligibility criteria for IBPS is graduation in any discipline. So in short, with B.Tech, you are eligible to apply for IBPS. However, you should have a valid marks list. Operating and working knowledge in Computers is mandatory. You should have a certificate/degree/diploma in Computer operations in your studies. You should be able to read, write and speak the official language of the State.

The candidate should have graduation from government recognized university. Only the valid mark sheet will be considered. They should be proficient in the official language of the State. Moreover, a candidate should be able to operate the computer and basic operation on it.

The syllabus of IBPS PO prelims exam has topics based on its three sections of reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude, and English language. IBPS PO Prelims would be a 100 mark examination.

You have to give exam of ibps -clerk(ibps-most banks nowadays instead of conducting seperate exam process for their bank joined together except sbi and conduct one exam to recruit clerk ,po etc.) Graduation and minimum 21 years of age is required. Earlier it was senior secondary and minimum 18 years age.
