Hello Friend,
First of all I really appreciate that you have asked this question. Not many open up and come forward to speak this suffering. After going through your question carefully, I feel that you can definitely come out of this situation as you have poured your heart out and are now ready to change yourself. So first things first, it does not matter that you have wasted many years in fake studies for bank preparation, what matters is if you have realized now that you were faking to study now you can become serious and really study for something which really matters to you. Even 1 year of seriously studying something which matters to you and pulls you is much better than faking to study in something simply because you want status/ respect in society out of the job you will get. The core issue why this is happening with you is because, 1) You don't know why in the first place you are doing what you are doing, 2) You are doing to gain status/respect in society and now you have realized you are not interested in these studies but you value societal status more than your inner well being.
Now you are asking how should you prepare for GA in last 2.5 months left. This shows that you are stuck in a vicious circle and the more you are trying, the more you are getting stuck.
In the last part you said you are now feeling suicidal. My friend, I know one thing for sure- a person like you who speaks up about what he is suffering on such a big platform is indeed very brave and just needs a bit of support. We all are here to help you. As a friend I would advise you to watch video of "Acharya Prashant" on youtube. Just search- "Acharya Prashant on career".
In the end we all are here always for your help. Feel free to ask any help. Your are a very brave guy.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Dear Student ,
No, It's not required to take Computer science in 11th for preparing in Govt jobs . If you carefully see the banking exam syllabus for Govt sectors , there are mainly .. verbal , logical and quantitive section .You need to practice those sections at the prelims stage .
Well, it will be an advantage for you to take commerce stream if you are serious to enter in banking sector. In mains exam, finance related knowledge are required .
Hope you have understood !
Best wishes !!
Hello suraj,
As you mentioned that in most of your documents there is a mistake in your name so it will be advisable if you request for the correction before you give any government exam.
Matters related to change in name , incorrect spellings are treated very strictly as they are the proofs of your sole indentity. Follow only one pattern. Either request for a change the name in marks card and certificate or go for the alteration in adhar card and bank. Well the second one will be the best choice. You can easily change your adhar card details as well as bank details.
And then try to make these changes equivalent in all documents.
If your Cognizant profile name matches to all the documents provided by you, then there will be no problem.
Hope it might have helped.
Regards
Hi leena,
Considering the fact that you are a youngster, I would say you go for UPSC, a person who has cleared UPSC examination is seen different in the Indian Society. UPSC provides a lot of job opportunities to serve the people and the amount of satisfaction it will give while doing so will be incomparable to anything.
Although banking jobs are also good and quite reputed and can serve as a decent way of living but none can be compared to the father of all the jobs - UPSC ! Since you are young you should atleast give it a try for as the saying goes 'the preparation alone of this exam makes you a different personal overall'.
But don't just blindly follow this suggestion as for clearing upsc, according to the toppers your 'WHY' should be very strong hence take suggestions from your parents, teachers and finally make up your mind to do something that is best suited for you.
Regards.
Yeah! Obviously for banking both in Government and private sector, statisticians are highly required. But if you wish to go for the private sector and want to work in the domain of statistics, then going for the MSc will be a better choice. After MSc Statistics, the exposure to different fields increases and also the salary packages in jobs are highly appreciated.
The top recruiters in the field are-
HDFC
Accenture
Cognizant
RBI
Neilson
Tata Consultancy Services Innovation labs
Blue Ocean Marketing
BNP Paribas
Goldman Sachs
Genpact
GE Capital
HP
Indian Market Research Bureau
Deloitte
