I am a 3 year experienced banker, wants to learn Investment Banking. Suggest me the courses which will enhance my career in coming years?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 25th Sep, 2018

Hello Aspirant,

As you are already experienced in banking sector there is not much needed for you but still had to have plenty of knowledge.Investment banking is a different world where investing processes are done.

While entry-level investment banking analyst positions require only a bachelor's degree, many investment bankers pursue graduate degrees. Master of Business Administration degrees (MBAs) are most common among investment bankers, but other graduate degrees, like law degrees, can be useful as well.

I hope this helps.

shreyapandey96 Student Expert 12th May, 2018
Hi Amisha
Greetings

If you are interesting in pursuing a career in banks, then the basic minimum qualification requirement these days is a graduation degree. The various post that banking jobs offer these days are Probationary Officer, Clerk-cum-Cashier, and others. But the minimum requirement for private banks these days is an MBA. For government banks, you are supposed to clear the bank entrance exams, known as the IBPS, that constitute of questions related to reasoning, quantitative aptitude, general awareness and computers. You need to be a graduate with at least 50 percent marks to qualify for the bank examinations.

After you pass the examination, all you need to do is to log on to the computer and look for recruitment companies that are dedicated to offering you the best placements and recruitments. The demand for banking and financial professionals has increased tremendously; therefore, these recruitment companies are your most trusted partners that can help you seek a sought-after job, adhering to your qualification and your work skills.
