To have decent chances of getting seat in a NIT you need to score the cut off rank that is specified. Cut off is is different for each category and Institute. By analysing past year cut of trends the ideal score should be 280-300 marks if you belong to general category, for OBC-NCL it is 250-280 marks and if you belong to SC/ST you need to score minimum 200 marks. To check the cut off for NITs for admission in to B.Arch you can click the link below

Depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty level of examination and number of seats available the cut off may increase or decrease.

Yes of course you can take your Pencil, Sharpner and Eraser for Drawing section of JEE-Main paper 2.
If your query is regarding JEE Main 2021 application then you can apply for both paper 1 and paper 2 in a single application. You do not have to apply separately for paper 1 and paper 2. If you have already applied for B.Arch and submitted the application you will be able to opt for another paper at the time of correction or change paper 1 to paper 2. Multiple application submitted by a candidate for same session will not be accepted. Your application might not be accepted also you need to give your details as per the class 10th certificate. As you have said you have slightly modified your name there are chances that your candidature may get cancelled of the information given in the application does not match with the details in your original certificates.
hello,
If you want to appear for btech and barch you can take the advantage by attempting 4 chance in a year separately. There will be no reduction for the jee mains because in order to take part in both you need to fill the application and there you have to opt for paper 1 and paper 2 along with the appicable fee you need to give for both the paper. The candidates are given 4 attempts separately for both paper 1 and paper 2.
hope this will help you
all the best!!
