Hello,
In 2020, owing to COVID-19, the CAT test pattern was changed after six years. The 2014 CAT design was used until 2019.
Last year, the CAT exam pattern was drastically altered. The overall exam length has been decreased from 180 to 120 minutes, and the segment time restriction has been reduced from 60 to 40 minutes for each part, according to the revised CAT exam design. The number of exam seats has been raised to three from two. The overall number of questions was also lowered in tandem with the reduction in CAT exam time.
You can get the complete details from the below link'

Hello student, RT means Reappear in Theory. If a student has appeared in 6 subjects and he/she has one additional subject and gets RT in any one subject, then your result will be shown as PASS because you have cleared 5 out of 6 subjects. Let's take an example suppose a student secured 24/30 marks in practical examination and 10/70 marks in theory examination so the total comes to be 34/100 which means a student secured more than 33%. But according to board guidelines you must get 33% separately in theory and practical examination. That means you have to appear for RT. but it's all up to you you can take admission in the university because your overall result is pass. But it is suggested that you may appear for improvement examination to enhance your result.
All the Best!
