As the Subjects are almost similar , you can choose IT in Mtech, eventhough you have done BE in CSE stream.

 In Your question if you mentioned that you are in 1st sem then after your 1st sem generally you are not going to get any internship regarding your branch but if you are good at programming languages then it may be possible you'll get an internship in software companies or else you can do internship online.

At some places first module exams are also over. Admission in BTech are not on semester basis so hang on for next year.

hey dear,first of all you should mention the name of college than only i would be able to tell you the exact thing about college.Since,you haven't mentioned name of college so i would say that if your desired college contains a word"engineering college" or "technical university" in it's name than it is sure that it privides btech course .

hey dear, there can't be a legit answer for this question.Success only depends upon knowing your worth for a one specific task or tasks.So if a student finds his passion for some other thing and exels on it for long time than only he can get success.Whereas, a person leaving btech just because he dosen't like it anymore and wants to go back and sit at home wouldn't work for achieving a good career.
